The numbers being discussed from the new Panigale 4 are quite special, I was having a look at it at Brands and it looks more GP bike than Superbike in places. I'm not sure Kawasaki will be enjoying such dominance for too much longer!

What rides are actually available for 2019? Ten Kate Honda and? Apparently only 10 seats have been filled for next years grid! Apart from Honda, all the other "factory" teams are full. No Aprilia, no Suzuki, no MV.

Apart from how it looks, which is stunning!...I think it’ll do well in WSB.

13 confirmed rides for 2019, although I can only find 12. I guess the 2nd Honda Red Bull rider will go ahead, but cant find out who. www.gpone.com/en/2018/10/23/sbk/2019-to-kick-off-at-phillip-island-but-with-who.htmlRiders with ? are this years riders, but not confirmed for 2019 and the team themselves might not even race in the case of the last couple. Kawaski Factory Rea Haslam Ducati Factory Davies Bautista Yamaha Crescent vd Mark Lowes BMW SMR Sykes Reiterberger Honda Red Bull Camier Gagne? Ducati Barni Rinaldi Kawasaki Puccetti Razgatlioglu Kawasaki Pedercini Ruiu ? BMW Althea Baz? Kawasak Go Eleven Ramos? Yamaha Guandalini Smrz? Kawasaki Orelac Racing VerdNatura Mercado? Yamaha GRT might move up? ? ?

He said he wouldn't be that interested, but I guess if there was a decent bike he'd have a go. All doors are closed in WSB now the second Honda's gone.

Had a feeling the Honda ride was going elsewhere. Hope Eugene doesn't end up in BSB for Tyco BMW. I'd rather see him spend a year as a super sub. That option has come good for plenty of riders over the years. It can pay well too.

I hope the Honda goes to a fast or young upcoming rider rather than another token Yank or whatever country that the wsbk owners feel needs a representative this year.

On Speedweek it says that HRC Honda are reviewing their involvement in WSBK at the moment and looking at bringing in Althea/Moriwaki to run it. The translations are poor so I can't understand if this is in place of Ten Kate or aswell as?

The translations are poor so I can't understand if this is in place of Ten Kate or aswell as? www.speedweek.com/sbk/news/135062/Althea-Boss-Bevilacqua-will-offizielles-Honda-Team.htmlFrom what I translated I'd say HRC want to dump Ten Cate. They havent won a dry race since July 2014! Bevilacqua, the Althea boss, has taken the hump over SMR getting the BMW factory support, so has talked to Moriwaki (who HRC would outsource running the bike to, like Suzuka 8-hour) and Ducati. Ducati talks came to nowt. Someone from Moriwaki worked with Althea at the last race to assess how they worked. Morowaki might want a Japanese rider. Bevilacqua wants to bring in a rider from STK1000 and would run a 3rd bike if needed. So guess thats Baz out of a job as well.

If Honda get another team to run their WSB set-up, there is possibly a chance Ten Kate will stay and run another manufacturer perhaps? aprilia might find someone to run their bikes also? Surely there is a team looking to step up and run another Ducati V4 maybe? Although looking a bit doom and gloom, I think there is a chance that something will come up for the rider who doesn't take a safe option and sign for a BSB or MotoAmerica team. If not then WSB is looking pretty slim for depth of field in 2019. And it isn't exactly brimming with talent as it is.
