Maybe a seat for an MGP cast-off?
Bautista would go well on it I reckon.

Isn't his wife leaving him as well? Can't do your racing head any good if so.

I remember being at the Nurburing in 2011 when Kawasaki announced they were ditching Paul Bird racing and Sykes as they were under performing. Sykes then on to win the very wet 2nd race. As Vermin then retired due to has dodgy knee, Kawasaki kept Sykes on with the new team and he finished 2nd next year to Biaggi by 0.5 points. He had a good run at it until Rea arrived and stole his thunder.
I think WSBK needs a big name MotoGP standard rider to take on Rea to make the series more entertaining again. Preferably non Brit.

Sykes.
I'd save marriage until after racing. Look at all the top motogp lot, no wife or kids except for Dovi and he's probably lost form because his wife's been nagging at him, Crutchlow probably loses the front end every time he thinks about whether he left his trousers on the bedroom floor and didn't fold them. MM can fully concentrate on saving that front end, no women.

No, IMHO. I'd rather see it go to Razgatlıoğlu. Good shout. I'm not sure he is the required standard just yet, he has the potential, but with some Sofuoglu influence might ruffle a few feathers and make it more interesting.

I think putting Haslam on it is a safe bet. Clear number 2 rider who has proven he can work well with Rea and is a team player. Kawasaki already have their race winner and their future talent is being looked after in a good b team.

Wrong move in my view; Kawasaki already have a shoe-in for the championship. I imagine that they looking for a strong number two for the manufacturers and teams championship, who isn't going to trip up his team mate as he marches to yet another WSBK riders world title.

Big for WSB though; it needs as much hype and excitement as it can get these days! Melandri supposed move to a satellite Yamaha is a step down for the ex-250 champ.

Think Melandri is in paycheque mode these days. That said, his bike seemed to handle like wobbly shit down the straights so I'm not surprised he's not as fast as he should be. Chaz's never did it so maybe it's a weight thing?
I guess Bautista is a 'big' name as far as WSB goes but I reckon you need about 4 ex-gp guys to get any real sparkle back into the series. Maybe if Redding and Smith got rides or even someone like Kallio, it'd spice things up a bit. Rea is killing the series.
