Hoppur46, IF as you say "Rossi puts his bike in there, turns in to take his line through the corner" then would hardly be any contact. Yes SG turned in, but VR played it dirty (or had to) and go wide forcing SG way off. At 2:25 in the last video (the overhead shot), watch closely what Rossi is doing. He is just starting to make his way over to full lean. Just about to get his bike down and set to go around the corner, when Sete hits him (Rossi is half a bike ahead at this point, mind you). Only THEN does Rossi sit up a bit and run a little wider (but still nowhere near off track). How can anyone seriously use the verb "torpedo" to describe that incident?

How can anyone seriously use the verb "torpedo" to describe that incident? From the overhead shot; SG is taken a defensive, tighter line into the corner; VR is taking an even tighter, attacking line into the corner; SB turns into into the corner and because of VR ill conceived maneuver there is contact! How can you not see that is beyond the rest of us. You're seeing what you want to see because of your bias towards a particular rider; the rest of us are being objective. Anyway, I am bored of arguing about regarding something that happened 12 years ago and was cut and dried at the time in favour of Sete, I would much rather take about something that happened on Sunday... motobanzai.freeforums.net/post/443
