Good race. Better than moto2. Good result for McPhee as well.

Good race, got to love Zarco as long as it lasted. Nice one from MV. Dovi gave him a good fight. VR, still life left in him and no matter how far down the grid, he never gives up. Exit Ianonne as usual.. Shame as the Suzuki seem to be going well.
Bet HRC are not pleased..

Zarco set the fastest lap of the race. Next few years at Tech 3 will be important times, there will be a vacant place in the factory team up for grabs.
Loved seeing the Aprilia up there. One or two more laps and he may have been past Marquez. Aleix set the 3rd fastest lap. I never see Qatar as a season indicator, but impressive none the less.
MV's speed into the corners is incredible, Hodgson was saying he uses alot of engine braking and it helps pull the rear down - you can visibly see it working. First proper round at Austin will be interesting to see him vs Marc at one of his strongest tracks (maybe the strongest?)

Enjoyed that...shame Zarco binned it, maybe got a wee bit over-excited but it was enjoyable while it lasted. Still, bodes well.
MM will probably be "happy" with a 4th, VR was very happy with his 3rd given that he was nowhere near the front during practice, but he's still fighting hard.
Ditto wrt Aprilia, great result and only 7 seconds behind the winner. MV played it cool then went for it, brilliant ride. Iannone did what we've come to expect he'd do...shame as he was fighting for a podium.
Missed M3, but a great scrap by all accounts, well done McPhee...
Morbidelli ruled M2, I enjoyed his interview in PF...cool as.

Good to see McPhee get a result, last season ended with an extended stay in Oz for him. Looking forward to watching the race tonight.

It is not like Honda to drop a bollock 2 years in a row!
Chuffed to see McPhee on the podium after an outstanding ride from mid-pack; excellent riding.
Great race in MotoGP. Agreed wrt Zarco; another Turn 2 victim. MV rode a class race, but it certainly didn't seem inevitable at the start. Crutchlow like to make life hard for himself! AEsp  ride of the day!?... But I haven't watched Moto2 yet ;-)

Excellent Moto3 race, ok moto2 race, terrific motogp race. I think the organizers got lucky that it pissed down just after the race, as it seemed a shambles and no one really knew what to do regarding running the race. Hopefully if it looks like rain in the future they will automatically switch it to a day race.
I thought MV was excellent, bridged the gap then methodically worked out how to beat Dovi, great racecraft. What a result for AEsp and Aprilia. Wouldn't surprise me if that's their best result of the season though. I do like Zarco (not least for his lid design), not completely unexpected to see him go down, should give him some confidence though. Iannone similar, not surprising that he went down as well, hopefully he can stay up a bit more this season.
On BT sport on Saturday they was filling like crazy due to no racing but there was actually a couple of interesting things said. Edwards has mentioned before that riding a GP bike is a bit like balancing a see-saw, subtle smooth weight transfer so as not to unsettle the bike. Lorenzo got interviewed and suggested that the Ducati needed very aggressive weight transfer/aggressive on the throttle to load up the front and rear. They pointed out this is completely the opposite to what Lorenzo has done his entire career. It looks like Lorenzo will need every single minute of every session to try and get his head round this bike. Could be a trying season for him.

Excellent race...Hope this is an indicator of how the season will pan out. Couldn't be any different from F1! I know its pointless comparing the 2 but I was excited for the new F1 season...What a let down. Thank fuck for 2 wheels!

It'll give the VR lovers and JL haters something to gloat about though I'm sure JL will be up there pretty soon. Having said that, VR's first race on the Duc he came in 7th and 16sec behind. JL 11th and 20 secs behind in his first race.
