I'm Moto 3 scale, so the 675 size appeals to me, but it would have to be a late model with the "proper" exhaust, not that stupid under-seat "I wanna look like a 916" set up on the previous models.
If I'm honest, if I saw one in a shop I'd rock up on my gixxer and ask what they'd give me part ex. but I'm not going down the private sale and private purchase route, that's a mug's game over here.

Fully faired bikes are not the future. Ask Triumph. On my manor, cafe racers seem the in thing.

Fuck me. This is unbelievable. Could have died.
BAD LUCK UNITED 10 - MEKON WANDERERS 0
Chain was a bit tight so I thought I'd loosen it up. I loosen it'd up but there were still tight spots so I investigate rear sprocket placement and retighten it. Still got tight spots so I look at the chain and gave each link a wiggle until I come across the split link........hold on is that a spring clip one.....WITHOUT A FUCKING SPRING CLIP ON IT???
Take screwdriver, prize off link with little effort. WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK. I've been bombing about like a cunt with a chain that could go at any moment.
Contact the cunt that sold it and he said it was his local garage that did it. Told him to never use them ever again.
Was going to replace the chain and sprockets anyway to sort this tight spot but fuck me.

Did do to ktm after split link snapped as I put it on. Luckily I had the rivet with the chain kit as well.
Fuck me. Next time I buy a bike I will take it for an Mot before purchase!!!

I would never consider a spring clip link on anything with an engine. And 99% of mechanics are chancers.
Last time I bought a chain they sent me one with a hard pin link instead of soft, so I went and had some quad stake anvils made for my chain riveting tool, Best thing I could have done, that fuckers not going anywhere soon.

Apparently that chain has been on for 2000 miles. That's a lucky 2000 miles on both our counts. Ordered new chain and sprockets with rivet link.
Also noticed front sprocket came off rather easy for a supposed 102lbs/ft. Luckily that nut has a retained that bends onto the nut so it can't move.
This is now two bikes I've bought with loads of service history that have been serviced by chimps. 99% of mechanics do seem to be chancers.

Fuck me you're really taking Brexit seriously aren't you? 1. Do your own maintenance. 2. Embrace the metric system.

Dropped fork oil. Like dirty dish water. Being thick I took forks out then realised I'd not loosened fork caps.
Left the cunting things to drain for a bit. Putting 10w back in but if I need heavier it can wait until winter now.
