If I owned an R7 I'd ride it. A nice sunny evening, why not? Its not all about using a bike to its full potential, its about enjoying it for what it is. Whats not to love about cracking the throttle on a litre sportsbike? I'm with you on the cleaning. Two words; chain oil |

I was only looking at ads for these beauties in Spain this very week! The going rate over here is 2,000€ for a minter and about 1,000€ for one needing work. That ebay one was too cheap. Someone got a bargain. |

She's lovely. This was the model which had a reputation for drinking oil. It was all over the motorcycle press but Honda denied that there was ever a problem. A mate of mine had one and he was going through a litre of oil every 750 - 1000 miles. When he went on road trip to Spain, France, Germany etc. he took a bottle with him. |

Someone got a bargain. 3.6k GBP - too cheap?! I like those old original ones (before they made them into a 916 mini copy). Proper de-restricted raw 125 power. One of my fondest biking memories was riding my Suzuki RGF 125 after it had been de-restricted (one wire disconnected from the ecu, easy) First time I had ridden a full power 125, and by far the quickest thing at the time id ever ridden. I thought it was the best thing ever. |
