Probably got it myself now. Went to York today (quite dead and empty) and touched and handled loads of things. Then went to Gear4music and played a load of keyboards.
Asking for it really.

Gates in 2015:
$560 billion military defence budget vs <1 billion on medical R&D surveillance/prep for something that could kill huge numbers. And then you have Trump saying it will go away when April comes and it gets abit warmer.

Italy sounds like a shit show. Just read that in a typical italian fashion you have to have some paperwork you've printed off to actually just go to buy food. Not got it. Up to 3 months in a jail and a large fine.

Up to 3 months in a jail and a large fine. Where did you get that from? Travelling between towns I've read you need approval, but going to the supermarket to buy food?

Google it. It's a thing apparently.
You're allowed to leave your house for: •An urgent, demonstrable, work-related reason. •"Situations of need", for example to buy food and other basic necessities. •Health reasons, for instance an urgent doctor's appointment. •Returning home.
Police can stop anyone at train stations, on roads or simply on the street – including pedestrians – and ask them to justify why they are outside.
What paperwork do I need?
Everyone is now required to fill out a standardized form stating their reason for being outside and submit it to authorities if asked.
Here's what the form looks like:
It's essentially an official declaration that: 1.You're aware of the travel restrictions; 2.The information you provide is true; 3.You understand that making a false claim is punishable by law.
The Italian authorities reserve the right to check out your story and if they find it's not accurate, you could face a fine of several hundred euros – or even criminal charges and up to three months in prison.
What should I write?
The form asks for the following information (in order): •Full name •Date of birth •Place of birth •Place of residence •Street address •Form of ID (e.g. passport, ID card) •ID number •Telephone number •Reason for travel: work; necessity; health; returning home •Details of reason for travel •Date, time and place you're handing in the form •Signature
Examples of reasons to travel listed on the form include: • Lavoro presso... ('I work at...') • Sto rientrandro al mio domicilio sito in... ('I'm returning to my residence in...') • Devo effettuare una visita medica ('I have a medical appointment')
The form should be filled out in Italian. Ask someone to help you if you're not sure what to write.

Do I have to print it out?
From Tuesday morning, police have been providing travellers with paper copies of the form at train stations and airports. But now that justification is required simply to be on the street, you'll need to have a copy ready as soon as you leave the house.
If you have access to a printer, you can download the form here.
Alternatively you can copy out the whole thing by hand: make sure to write everything exactly as it appears on the form, in full.
What do I do with the completed form?
Show the paper copy to police if requested. They may ask you to hand over the form: make you take a clear photo first for your records.
How many forms do I need?
You should expect to complete a new form for every journey you make.
Do I need any other documents?
Carry your passport and/or your Italian ID card with you, as well as your permesso di soggiorno if applicable.
If you're travelling because you live somewhere else in Italy and you need to return home, bring proof of your address.
If it's for work reasons, try to provide documentation from your employer, and if you need to travel for medical reasons, bring a note from your doctor or confirmation of your appointment.

I found if you go to buy a coffee/snack at Italian tracks (Misano) or service stations you queue (scrum) to pay and get your receipt then queue (scrum) again to get your item. Its so that the food handlers aren't handling money and keeping germ free, but its bloody inefficient. Although they then take your receipt, but thats relatively clean. The Germans had that sussed (at the Nurburgring event) you pre-pay on a card at the pay station and then its contactless payment at the stall.

Models are suggesting this will peak in June. Buckle up. Well bad news from a fit bird doesn't seem so grim I guess. It looks like its going to be an annual event so we need to get it so as not to get it. I think.
