Anyone think something is a bit different with this one? Tens of thousands die of the flu each year but the Chinese are taking people away in sealed boxes and welding up high-rise blocks if you believe the Internet.

Thing is, you go to an awful lot of countries and there's very little the cunts won't eat. Can't blame them as it's due to a history of extreme poverty but it's surprising that there isn't more of these mad viruses because there's fuck all food quality control.

I'm still really ill. Been going to work as normal past two weeks and loading up on the max strength Lemsips but last night I got there and was a bit delirious and shakey on my feet. Decided I was safer at home and promptly drove back home and went to bed. The fact I shit myself in liquid fashion about five minutes after my arrival played some part in me deciding home was best.
Luckily no one else was in the canteen at the time. So my shameful secret is safe. Got home and slept until now. Still feel dog shit rough. Gotta be at work for next week so praying to my atheist god that I will be cured by Monday evening.
I'm still going to keep buying from China though. Which demonstrates what a capitalist shit I am.

Not sure if I have told this old story before but years ago when I was a young lad working for an MX team, I lived at the house owned by the riders parents. They had the team workshop in the back garden. Anyway about a couple of weeks after I started working for them I got the flu. I was in bed delirious and kept thinking that if I cleaned and oiled my air filter and changed my spark plug, I'd be ok. This internal debate went on all night as I debated with myself the best plug to use and what typed of filter oil. As the morning came round and my fever began to dissipate, I remember thinking that perhaps I wasn't a two stroke engine after all and that I was just ill with flu.

Had to chuckle at that tale Droog. I remember have a flu before the bird flu that time and it felt like I was tripping balls at one point. You get an idea in your head it becomes an all consuming weirdness. The only good part of getting flu!
David Lynch must get the flu a lot.

Getting a bit desperate here. Due to the nature of my illness and moving in the last month, access to a GP to get a prescription is proving difficult to obtain without a lengthy wait. I need to be at work right now due to my company being purchased by another with them conducting interviews later this week. Anyone on here got any amoxicillin tucked away in their cupboard I can have?

If you have a touch of asthma, phone them up and tell them you're struggling to breathe. Should get a prescription written on the back of the phone call.
Surprised they're not issuing ABs like sweets just now.
