The Chinese F1 April 17th-19th has been postponed. In Japan they are cancelling major events. The windsurf event Feb 17-24th has been knocked on the head. I guess there will be many more to follow. Olympics in Tokyo this summer?

“The Japanese Government has issued a directive for the restraint of nonessential and nonurgent activities in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As a result, many large-scale events within Japan have been cancelled.
The members of the Executive Committee have decided to prioritize the health and safety of the sailors and visitors.
In order to prevent the spread of the virus, we have determined that it would be best to cancel the 2020 Japan PWA competition.”

Korean windsurf event April 30th cancelled now by the local officials.
Some top division football matches in Italy as well. The source of that outbreak hasn't been traced yet. It does seem highly contagious.

Difficult to tell if some governments/organisations are massively overreacting to this or if we should all just be a bit more concerned. My office employs the utterly fucking ridiculous practice of "hot desking" and the cleaners just give the desks a wipe and don't touch keyboards or mice so if one infected cunt comes in then we've all fucking got it within a week 😒

Some of the measures taken will actually spread a virus.
My mate works abroad a lot, attends conferences etc. and said at one conference they had to all fill in some paperwork about where they'd been etc. and they all used the same pen..... He said he used his own pen but many where just using the same one provided over and over.
Maybe this is all some Children of Men thing and in a few years we'll all be infertile and mourning the death of Baby Diego.

My Boss has just landed in the UK after being in the region or Northern Italy that has had the outbreak! Hes been told to stay indoors and wait for nurses to come and check him over. Also, his missus and son both have bad colds...We're not worried as they're all fit as butchers
