Just bought back my 1972 mini. Sold to a friend 18 yrs ago to fund my 125 racing.
It just been sitting in storage. Suprisingy little rust but will need some work of course.
Looking forwads to driving it again, went well. 1380 engine 90hp at the wheels, lsd, Adjustable suspension, rollcage etc.

Did the whole water cooled inlet manifold, 3/4 su carbs and cherry bomb exhaust. 12 inch Weller wheels on 155s and it handled like a bastard. Took head of it and did a mild polish. Sold it as it literally rusted to bits. |

I had my first experience of cheating on a girlfriend in a mini. I was 17, had a little mini 1000 that was beige but I sprayed it red with a white roof and put those little black plastic arches on that were popular at the time. Fucked her mate in the back seat of it. Not a lot of room I can tell you.

I did buy myself a 3 litre digital ultrasonic cleaner but two days later they messaged me to say they had run out of stock. I can have an analogue one but then it was the same price and only a 15 minute timer. The digital one was up to an hour. Will keep looking.

Bought a used but better than I had motherboard,cpu and ram bundle. Added a rx580 graphics card and I can now play PC games in ultra bollox, better than your poxy console graphics style. Tried this piece of software that lets you run your Playstation VR headset on the PC but I can't get the fucker to work properly.
Just raced around a digital Knockhill in a vintage Ferrari in Project Cars 2. Good fun with wheel, pedals and gearstick. With VR it would be awesome.
Tempted to buy an Oculus Rift as I've discovered you can mod a lot of PC games to run in VR. GTA in VR!

VR driving isn't that far away from actual driving if you've got a decent force feedback wheel and a decent sim game. All the tracks are laser scanned these days so they're totally accurate. With a normal screen you're looking at car cockpit on the screen with VR you are literally in the cockpit. You only really get it once you've tried it. It's like the difference between watching porn and shagging in real life. Almost. You can get VR porn as well.

Paul, don't forget to get the wife that Lego she wanted for Christmas as well. My wife wants a new steering wheel for my PC setup. Don't know why but I'll probably spend £500 on it because I'm good like that.
