Decided I wanted to learn the piano again (played for bit when I was about 9) so I bought a Yamaha thing for £80. Progressed at a decent rate and have just splurged £400 on this bargain (well I think it's a bargain as it was £1100) Casio MZ-X500 that is literally a band in a box.
Watch out Daft Punk!
Built another bartop arcade as well using pine planks I glued together, a dell monitor, some arcade sticks, buttons and Raspberry Pi.

I'm thinking about getting a lathe. But if I do that would prevent me buying a project bike.

..I’d love a classic bike......modern or vintage...If it was vintage itd be something like a z900....mind you, I’ve always had a soft spot for the GT750 kettle.

I'm thinking about getting a lathe. But if I do that would prevent me buying a project bike. My father in law has a pretty well kitted out garage. If I hear about him offloading stuff I'll let you know. He#s got a lathe with a proper stand. Fukken heavy; I helped him pick it up, get it in and set up.

I'm not sure if it counts as a man toy, but I purchased a nut cracker yesterday. As a kid, I can always remember being of awe of my dad as he cracked open Brazil Nuts using one. I would love a decent sized garage/shed/workshop and win the lottery to kit it out; lathe, milling machine, pillar drill etc all the usual stuff for a decent engineering workshop, a couple of hydraulic motorcycle workbenches, tyre changing and wheel balancing machines, full Snap-on or Teng tools sets, everything need to fully strip a bike and car down to their component parts... ... oh, and an entertainment shed/home cinema/bar thing; DJ station, dance floor, chill out area, pool tables, full stocked bar, plus one of these:

We're moving in to our new house soon, when the solicitors can be bothered lifting their cuntish fingers that is, so I was thinking of getting a driving rig set up in the spare room. GT sport has me completely hooked but with a wheel and pedals my children will have to bring themselves up

GT sport has me completely hooked but with a wheel and pedals my children will have to bring themselves up DO IT!Got a logitech g29 and 6 speed shifter on a rig. Some of the more serious boys say you need the £800 thrustmaster wheel that's supposedly designed to mate up with the game and delivery all sorts of subtle feedback but the G29 is rock solid. Thrustmaster wheels have a bit of a rep for dying. Past couple of xmas times, PC world have sold them off for £99. Got the PS4 and the Xbox g920 both for £99 each like that. What you really want if you're into GTS and not too bothered about racing, is the PSVR. Holy fuck, it really is just like being in a car. At the moment you can only do hotlaps and a shitting one on one race in VR. Next toy will be PC and Oculus for Project Cars 2 in VR for full grid racing. [/quote]

Yeah but no ps plus at moment as we also have the Xbox and live. Have to get a deal on ps plus as its expensive month to month.
Vr has sort of ruined the game for me as i only hot lap now.
Same with dirt rally. Only ever play that in vr. That game is a mindfuck though, you really think you're about to drive off a cliff.
