Espargaro did not lose consciousness and is described as 'perfectly fine neurologically'.
"His oxygen levels are good, but he has quite a significant lung contusion, the extent of which we will need to confirm with CT scans and MRIs at Faro hospital," Charte added.
"He has suffered severe spinal trauma and a contusion to his lungs which we will have to monitor closely. Although I think he will recover well, we need to conduct the appropriate tests to determine the extent of his injuries

No further updates this morning so I think thats good news. BTSport FB page mentions broken jaw, vertebra and bruising on the lungs. Havent seen someone rag doll like that for a while. Ponch said he hit the wall hard but the bike missed him.
14 riders in FP2 under the outright lap record means they are all going fast this year, obviously, but have they resurfaced the track or something?

Ponche says MO & PE both left the pit at the same time, did a slow outlap, the sun wasnt on the track, they both fell more or less at the same part of the track.

On VM, BT5 is on BT1 and press the red button. By the time I found out I tuned in to see the chequered flag go out  What a fuck up by BT, who wants to see a chat show in the car park when the bikes are on track? |

Minor change from last year, Q1/Q2 split is from just Friday's FP this year, last year it was FP1/2/3, then a FP4 which didnt count for anything.

MM goes from 12th to 1st after the flag has dropped. Right place right time with the tow, a skill in itself.
Miller & Oliveira must be happy, sacked off last year, but have got it together with the new bikes. There isnt much time on the bikes over winter these days.
FQ lacks a fast lap, and I would say slightly behind FB's race pace they tried in FP2. Another year of struggle and flat out riding for him this year. I cant see him finishing 2nd again.

MM will have a good chance of a decent result in the sprint, but still behind in pace for full race distance…
Wtf has Suzi Perry done to her face?…has she been to Toesland’s Botox specialist?….or maybe she’s just carrying a bit of extra timber these days 🤭
