I'm not intrigued by the fact Scott Ogden finished 3rd in testing. Whatley was near the bottom so it must be Odgen making the difference, not the bike.
I'm going for Ducati shutout in Motogp.
1. Bags 2. Basty 3. Zarco
MM to finish about 7th, having knocked Aleix Asparagus off early on.

Got to be a Ducati on top, deciding which one is a bit trickier though.
Don't the previous year's Ducatis usually do better in the first few races? I think we might see Marini or Bezzecchi sneak onto the podium. Bagnaia will probably win though.
The other spot could possibly go to an Aprilia, but with Aleix recently operated and Viñales a bit unpredictable I'm thinking of backing Oliveira.
Here goes:
Bagnaia Marini Oliveira.
Top Honda 7th (going with Mekon on that one), top KTM/GasGas 9th.

I've picked a team for the MotoGP FRR competition, purely based on VFM, no picking riders I especially like.
Its ALL Ducati. 4 riders, 1 constructor, 1 team.

I just hope Ayumu Sasaki can win the M3 champs. If I were a betting man I'd put my cash on Oncu before Sasaki.

Oncu.....a madness has taken you. Call the exorcist.
I'd put money on Diogo the toe clipper.

Oncu.....a madness has taken you. Call the exorcist. I'd put money on Diogo the toe clipper. Sadly I'm not going to Portimao until August, expect lap records to be broken though! I'm sticking to my guns after FP1. All Oncu needs is a bit of maturity, the speed and skill is there. FP2 for Moto2 stopped for rain! Rory Skinner looking reasonalby comfortable. When scanning the timing list for Skinner and Dixon I saw that Lowes is still in it... I had genuinely forgotten about him.

Well that was a bit surprising!
Not so surprised that Bezzecchi and Marini are in the top 5, nor that 4 of the top 5 are Ducatis, but who'd have bet on the top non-Ducati being a Honda, and not Marquéz!?
Thought Oliveira might be closer to the factory Aprilias...

I reckon that there will be a big re-shuffle this afternoon... some of the big hitters were running on used rubber!

A Marquez 1'38.782 J Mir 1'38.827
ALL TIME LAP RECORD 01'38.7250 2021 | Francesco Bagnaia
So they werent far of the all time lap record and conditions werent great this morning. This could be more interesting year than I originally thought if Mir keeps this up.

Hope Pol is ok. Looked like the bike was following him into the barrier.

Pol has back and chest trauma according to MotoGP twitter. Hopefully not serious, but they took a while to move him.
