So, no longer a rumour, Marini confirmed at HRC.
The Brivio rumour has changed though. Both Brivio and Puig are saying that they have contracts with their current employers until end 2024, so it looks like VR's approval to let Marini go (on a two year deal) was based on a commitment of HRC to replace Puig at the end of next year, not now.
Some Spanish sites are still saying today that Aldeguer is favourite to replace Marini, but others are saying that the "get out clause" for Aldeguer was only if no Boscoscuro bike ended in the top 5, so as Aldeguer himself finished 3rd, he can't go even if he wanted to, at least contractually speaking. I guess they need to confirm soon!

Digi deserves a ride in MotoGP. It sounds like Ducati did a "Honda" and said that their bike can only work within a particular setting window and it must be ridden in a certain way! As soon as Didi and Carchedi knew that the former was leaving Gresini, they said "fuck it", and turned the bike inside out and got it to work!

Not riders but still relevant I think.
So Sito Pons agreed to join RNF.
RNF get the boot (btw, I read that Cryptodata have lodged a 10m€ law suit against Dorna, seems that the amicable settlement between Dorna and RNF wasn't as watertight as Dorna might have expected, Razali might have accepted it but the team owners don't seem to have).
We're 'merican y'all step in and inherit the RNF bikes, slots, structure, cofee machines and whatever.
We're 'merican y'all contract Davide Brivio
Sito Pons now does what?

Iannone to test the GP24. Possible mid-season replacement for Morbidelli according to some sites.

Quattro probably has nowhere to go. Ducati have now got a riches of riders and THE bike so you don't need that alien anymore.

VR46 have stuck the middle finger up to Yamaha then...
Seems like Yamaha are pretty miffed with Rossi. Are they ready to offer big money to Pramac to become the Yamaha private team?
Maybe Morbidelli should try to hang on for the season and get back onm a Yamaha next year with Pramac?
