This gets stupider. The talk from listening to TV talk is that maybe Marc is staying at Honda as Honda have backed down over their Japanese ways of doing things and will poach whoever it takes at whatever cost to get back at the front and to fuck with Japanese honour and work systems.
I'd rather he just fucked off to Ducati and we got to see the results rather than another year of Honda not being able to get traction to the rear.

MM should just go to Ducati and be done with it...Honda (and Yamaha) are pissing in the wind, could be another wasted year.

Honda to make special announcement today....
Cancel that seems that was yesterday's news and obviously nothing of note was announced.

Well, apparently Mir is staying put! The "2pm" announcement was simply the premier of a film about MM's crew chief, Santi Hernandez.

I don't Mir has much value as a rider in the market. Dude did a tortoise and the hare run to the title and hasn't really done much since. This year has been terrible. I'm not sure where he could go?

Frankie got Rossi in his corner dawg.
Alex Marquez came back to life on a Ducati. Still think Frankie is missing something.

True, but who should get the chance to make a comeback?
The brother of a multiple WC? The protégé of a multiple world champ? Mir is a MotoGP world champion, even if it is a bit Nicky Hayden.

McPhee has left his team with immediate effect.
Where to now? I can't see any wsb team taking a chance on him or even if there's any rides going. Moto2 will be shut after this display and I don't think there's any rides anyway.
Maybe he needs to do a Redding/Kent and try and rebuild in BSB

Sadly lots of Moto3 "stars" (race winners at least) later struggle to find rides, even Spanish and Italian riders. At least John had the chance in WSS. I guess Puccetti have a replacement rider lined up who they think will do better.
If it was his choice, I'd like to think that this is a calculated move due to some opportunities being foreseen due to other market changes, riders being out due to injury, but I guess we just have to wait and see.

I wonder if he was just too long in the class. Obviously he perfected his art to be able win at that level but maybe it's just too late to teach the old dog?
Has Skinner got a 2 year contract?

Morbidelli to Pramac Ducati, bet he goes well. Better than on the Yamaha I guess, but I doubt Jorge Martin is quaking in his boots.
