Rumours are that Miller is in talks with LCR Honda for 2023.
Before Portimao I would have wondered who's place Lucio might be trying to fill, but Alex put in a good show whereas Taka didn't. HRC apparenty not so pleased with Nakagami's lack of results.
It seems to be taken as fact that Miller won't stay at Lenovo, he still might be in with a shout to go back to Pramac.
Mir was supposedly approached by HRC, but it sounds like both Rins and Mir will renew with Suzuki.
Aldegeur has recieved "several offers" to go to Moto GP but has said that he won't go until he is a bit older and with more Moto 2 experience. He pointed out that by going to Moto GP at 18, you are at risk of losing your ride after a couple of bad seasons and that's your MotoGP career over at 21. An obvious reference to Lecuona.
Pedro Acosta already has a contract with KTM for 2023.
Will Toprak arrive? Will Dovi stay? Binder?

Taka needs to go. We've seen all we need to see. I'd guess if he wasn't Japanese he'd be gone by now. Swap him out for Ogura if you must have a Japanese rider.
Unless Miller brought sponsors I'm not sure I'd take him. He's now a long established rider and once again we've seen all I think we'll see out of him. There's no title in him. He should go to WSB on the Ducati. Still not sure about Suzuki. Do they do enough to really put out a winning bike?
Disappointed in Acosta. I thought he was going to be lightning in a bottle. Whilst we're in Moto2 I'd get rid of Lowes and Dixon.

Riders need to step up if they want in in 23
Dovi Taka Alex M KTM, all of the them :-) Hot/cold
What has happened to Franco Morbidelly. Really taken a step back or is it only FQ who can extract the speed of the "slow" yam these days. ?

Forgot about Frankie. I guess because he's been out of the picture. Yeah, he needs some 2020 spirit. I also forget Dovi exists.

Riders need to step up if they want in in 23 KTM, all of the them :-) Hot/cold Binder and Oliveira are 7th and 8th in the standings. Ahead of both Factory Ducati riders and both HRC riders (in fact they are ahead of all Honda riders). Seems a bit harsh maybe then?

Dixon needs a team manager/engineer who will help him; he has the potential and speed to be a regular top 5 challenger!

Deff too harsh re KTM, but just not seeing them up the front all the time in the mix I suppose.

Are KTM really getting anywhere? I think they are the worst package on the grid now.

Does anyone think Marquez made a mistake with that Honda contract? I'd have thought when you're Marc Marquez you could have kept them on their toes with one year contracts.
I do wonder what he'd do on a Ducati.

Marc had a bit of a moan on Sunday by all accounts about the direction that HRC have taken.
Well he hasn't exactly been very up for development duties in recent off-seasons has he?
Maybe it was HRC who made the mistake with the contract....

Is there wriggle room to cut a contract short?

If 2 parties are thinking of splitting I reckon both wait to see if the other side jumps first and has to pay out on a penalty clause. MM has a record for high speed get offs during practise. 1 of those was bound to cause issues. A bit dodgy signing long term contracts. But part of his success was finding the exact limit and exploiting that knowledge during the races. If he has lost that advantage, riders & bikes are so close these days he slips down the field. Would a football team sign a player if he had a dodgy injury hit past?

I don't think Marc would be looking to get out of the contract. He'd rather stay and try to fix the issues for the years ahead. He's always been very clear about having no intention to ride for anyone else.
And as Phil says I don't think he'd be as sought after now as he would have been at his peak.

Is there wriggle room to cut a contract short? When its an employment contract there sure is! Don't think they´ll sack him just yet though. But they must be looking for someone alse to step up and maybe be the next No.1. It's not going to be Pol is it. But as some famous lawyer once said, a contract is just a starting point for negotiation.

Rumours that AM and TN may both get the boot at Honda for Chantra and Ogura.
