Mar 18, 2021 17:16:16 GMT Eddie The Bastard said: Not a lockdown win as such but during lockdown I have discovered the digital way of releasing some wind in the shower. I still chuckle at the sound. I had the Astra one today. Slight deviation on the way home. Is my brain fucking with me? My sense of taste has gone a bit soapy. Not sure if those are connected

Getting the jab hre in Norway is going to take time. Going pretty slow, only 450K of a population of 5 million. I should get it sometime in June.

The problem is we now seem expect EVERYTHING that Britain does to reflect the look of Boris. The reality is we are a first world nation not some 2nd world place with crippling levels of corruption etc.

My 82 year old father in law still hasn't had the jab here in Madrid. I don't expect to get mine until September at the earliest. More realistic is next year.

I've just won a 30 minute touring car race round Portimao. Raceroom with 32 players. Qualified 7th and just waited for people that start fucking up. Was third for ages then the leaders spun each other out. One bloke caught me and spent the last lap ramming me so I waited for his 3rd to last corner lung and turned him around on exit. Looked in mirrors, no others cars. cruise home in VR waving to crowd. Told my family. Don't give a fuck about it. I could have been a contender. I could have been someone.
THAT'S A REAL LOCKDOWN WIN! Salty cunt then starts sending me messages saying i'm a cheating cunt. What a cunt.

Ths furlough scheme and the vaccine roll out are two of the few things that this government has gotten right during the pandemic.

Ths furlough scheme and the vaccine roll out are two of the few things that this government has gotten right during the pandemic. Furlough still hasn't worked for some, but hey ho. The vaccine rollout has been excellent, but wait until the sun loving Brit wants to go abroad on holiday to Europe. We had a 'safe' travel corridor to places like Greece, but those caused more infections in the UK than other places + quarantine on return. news.sky.com/story/covid-19-greece-travel-corridor-brought-in-a-large-amount-of-virus-say-experts-12250258The previously unreported analysis, which was conducted by PHE and the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium, revealed that Greece was the largest source of imported infections between June and September, making up 21% of new cases, compared with 16% for Croatia and 14% for Spain. If the virus mutates and the vaccine doesnt protect against it, we will be back to square one.

True, but there will always be someone who will fall through the cracks when there's a government scheme... the alternative of no furlough would have been a lot worse for so many businesses and employees. One group of people who really missed out where the self employed who supplemented their taxable income with cash-in-hand work! As my old PE teacher used to say; "Give them an inch, then they'll take a foot, then a yard, then a mile".

I had my jab yesterday, no side effects so far, apart from my daily youtube workout being paused a few times as I was struggling a bit. Can you share a link for your workout Phil? Have you done a workout yet and how much did you ache the next day, and the day after that, and probably day 3 as well IIRC. Once you get into the swing of things it doesnt get any easier physically as you just do heavier weights or more reps, but definitely get the good feeling factor of endorphins.
