Sorry to hear about your Dad Pantah. It must be especially hard on older folk living alone.
I had my jab yesterday, no side effects so far, apart from my daily youtube workout being paused a few times as I was struggling a bit.
The blood clot excuse for suspending vaccinations sounds more like politics. Governments saying they are suspending when they have actually run low on supplies or some other reason. The 32 cases in 17m doesnt make sense. 13 EU countries plus a load of others like Thailand, Indonesia, Venezuela off the top of my head. Nuts.
A doctor on the TV today said getting pregnant or taking the pill increases the risk of blood clots. Remember when cheap flights took off there was the fuss about deep vein thrombosis and how you should walk up and down the plane a few times on longer flights.
Wifi is brilliant today though, must be twice as fast. Thanks CV vaccine.

I've been at work all the time as we are a small company of three.
Saved a small forune on the buss to and from work as the driver is cordoned off and one enters by the back doors.
Been doing a lot of snowboarding at the skislopes are the only thing open. Miss skateboarding as the indoor park is closed. Yoga is online, but reall miss the studio. It opened for one week and had to close again.
Learnt a bit about 3D printing and cad design, good fun.
Infecion rates are increasing here in Norway and the vaccine is taking it time. only 450K so far out of 5 million.
Put on a bit of weight.

If I want harder, do them quicker or easier do Claudia's version of an exercise. I'm still shit at pressups after doing these for 1 year, but reckon I could do twice as many now none stop as I could before. |

Once they have looked at this blood clot issue more closely I reckon they will start using it. An Indian company Serum Institute of India is producing vast quantities of the AstraZenica under licence. I reckon thats where mine came from. Now the 2nd shipment of 5m doses might be delayed as the Indian government might want to keep it over there. The deal was 10m doses in 2021, not by July. I also read they are also facing shortages of some raw materials. Some of it comes from USA and Biden is saying no to exports. The whole world (apart from non believers) is after a finite number of doses in the shortest time. The UK has received 10m doses from EU countries. We dont make much stuff here these days. We might design/invent stuff, but rely on others to make it cheaper with lower wages. Each EU member signed up for their agreement and its not working out. The EU PPE deal seemed better last year, whereas the UKs was a major fuck up. The head of the Serum Institute of India said production of the vaccine would be faster if the EU, UK, US etc all had the same standard for the production.
