Not a lockdown win as such but during lockdown I have discovered the digital way of releasing some wind in the shower. I still chuckle at the sound.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Pantah. It must be especially hard on older folk living alone. I had my jab yesterday, no side effects so far, apart from my daily youtube workout being paused a few times as I was struggling a bit. The blood clot excuse for suspending vaccinations sounds more like politics. Governments saying they are suspending when they have actually run low on supplies or some other reason. The 32 cases in 17m doesnt make sense. 13 EU countries plus a load of others like Thailand, Indonesia, Venezuela off the top of my head. Nuts. A doctor on the TV today said getting pregnant or taking the pill increases the risk of blood clots. Remember when cheap flights took off there was the fuss about deep vein thrombosis and how you should walk up and down the plane a few times on longer flights. Wifi is brilliant today though, must be twice as fast. Thanks CV vaccine. My brother had his last week and he felt shit after it. My neighbour Diane (well worth a ride by the way) was really ill after it and had to go to her doctor, spewed up constantly and had the shakes. That said sounds like a walk in the park compared with covid. The scaremongering doesn't bother me one iota. Bring it on.

...the driver is cordoned off and one enters by the back doors. Pre-Covid we'd have been all over this comment. The fuck is happening to us? 😔 I was wondering how long untill the "back door" comments would come !

Mate of mine in Wales had it on Monday, says he's felt a bit shit...flu-like symptoms. I'll get mine sometime in May according to the NL vaccination schedule. Be good if I could get the one-shot Janssen(Johnson & Johnson) vaccine. It's been developed up the road from me in Leiden and will be produced here too but I think it will be AstraZeneca for me.

Of the people I know who have had the jab none have had side effects other than feeling a bit tired. I feel fine today. Anything to reduce the chance of getting covid and lying face down for a week on a ventilator, or having long covid symptoms. The last time I had 'normal' flu it fucked me up for 2-3 months. I see after the EMA said the AstraZeneca blood clots was nothing out of the ordinary that some countries are resuming using it. Its up to individual countries. Romania only ditched 1 batch. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56440139Some other countries paused for a while as well, but as far as can find out only Venezuela havent resumed. www.reuters.com/article/instant-article/idUSKBN2BA2L0 I see BJ is having his jab today, he gets to choose which one, the AstraZeneca one. I wonder if he is seeking out one actually made in the UK rather than having whatever is in the van, made in India, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands or wherever.

That’s me jabbed. There was more stress trying to find somewhere to park in the centre of Edinburgh than the vaccination. Fucking one way systems everywhere and finally after asking a warden i found a spot near a ticket machine. Ring Go can go fuck themselves. Spent 15 minutes speaking to a robot that couldn’t understand me then when I typed in my card details i had to abort after 4 attempts . The cunts. If i never post again assume I’ve had a blood clot and died.

I did not know that such a named facility existed but from what I can recall about his playing days, for every goal he scored he missed about 9 sitters so I hope to fuck he's not dishing out the jags himself.

My motorcycle Lockdown wins last year were diagnosing and fixing the FI issue on my GSX-R750 (cheers to Diego the toe clipper for the advise), along with sorting a heating issue that raised it head on my first long ride out (air lock).
I'll also class home schooling as a win from last year; my wife doesn't have the patience, so it fell to me! I made sure that the boys did something different from the year group blog everyday, I only found out after they went back to school in September that the work set by the teachers on-line last year was optional! I learnt a lot about current teaching methods and my respect for teachers went through the roof.

Well my jab will literally be about a 2 minute walk away. Take that yer cunts. As soon as I received my letter from the NHS I booked an appointment. I had the choice of the Bournemouth International Centre or a pharmacy in Wallisdown. I've just been looking at transport options on google maps to arrive at 3:55pm, the time of my appointment. There is a bus stop 60 seconds from my house, a bus into Poole every 20 minutes. Bus stops at destinations as well. BIC. walk 133 minutes 6.5 miles drive 18-35 minutes 7.7 miles bus 58 minutes but to arrive in good time I would have to leave home at 2.18pm. cycle 44 minutes 8.6 miles the scenic less traffic route along the beach front Wallisdown walk 105 mins 5.0 miles drive 12-20 minutes (it took 20) bus 61 minutes but to arrive in good time I would have to leave home at 2.18pm. cycle 30 mins 5.5 miles My doctors is 0.1 miles down the road. They have since rung me asking if I wanted to go there for the jab. Lockdown fail.We have a right fuckwit of an MP in Bournemouth. He had volunteered to help out with jabs at the BIC. He wrote an article 10th February slagging off doctors for profiteering over the jabs, saying as they were getting paid £20 per jab they were ringing patients touting for business. At the BIC, they were going home early as they didn't get 100% takeup. Around 10th Feb, it was the more elderly being invited for jabs. Would 70+ year olds who dont drive risk travelling by public transport? I'd say I'm reasonably well covered for buses/trains but you can see from the above how long it would take. The reality is doctors dont get paid £20, more like £12.58, and they have to pay for PPE, assistants and admin etc. On the NHS letter it said I could book a jab at a centre, or wait for an appointment at my doctors. The 'system' wasn't informing GPs who had booked and who hadn't, so they also wanted to cover everyone. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-56009494

I had the Astra one today. Slight deviation on the way home.
Is my brain fucking with me? My sense of taste has gone a bit soapy.
