Lecuona has confirmed that he has signed a contract for 2022, it is not MGP nor Moto2 so it is assumed to be in WSB, probably HRC, but to be confirmed.

Very nice to see some Motogp excess going into the series. At least it provides some sort of yardstick about how good WSB. I'd have liked to see Petrucci on the Ducati but it appears he's off to die in a desert or something.

Toprak won't be going to Motogp if he waits another 2 years. Hodgson can cry all he wants about the new moves to look for young talent but Toprak will 27 going into the 2024 season. Nobody wants a 27 year old from WSB I'm afraid. They want Acostas etc. The times they are a changing.

I wonder if Toprac has a clause in his contract to say if he wins the title he can be let go if there is a motogp ride available. Guess that would be pointless as by time any title has been decided all the rides will have been taken.

It's folly unless you are the hottest stuff on the planet NOT to go to Motogp. The river never really flows back once you leave. Look at Joe Roberts. He'll never get on that Motogp train now. Only amazing talent can refuse and even now with RFernandez you aren't even being allowed to refuse.

Bradley Wiggins Smith is now supposedly looking at CIV superbike for 2022. Obviously a man of high standards. Fish in barrel stuff for Smith now.
He's in a tricky situation. By BSB standards he's still young but he risks the question of how good he ever was if he comes to BSB and gets mullered. Likewise with WSB.
I find it odd that he managed to stay in (and get into) Motogp on the back on not much but now won't go anywhere where the talent level is supposedly lower but still a legitimate challenge. We're onto you Bradley Smith.
