Well thats something.
Rea has been moaning about bikes again saying a 20k bike can't compete with a 44k one. The BMW is over 30k, the r1m is £25k, zx10rr is 25k. Nobody has a 20k bike.
Homologation specials have always appeared in wsb. People probably moaned when Honda rocked up with the rc30 that cost more than other stuff. Shut up moaning.

I remember when the RC30 came out in 1988, I think it was ₤8500 or something, sooooooo expensive at the time!...good investment though, and unused RC30 sold in the UK last year for ₤65000, not that there would be many like that but you'd still get a good return on your investment if you had one that hadn't been raced and fettled with. Taking inflation into account in today's money the new price would be just shy of ₤20k, not bad given how "Factory" it was at the time. |
