Working from home. Not as easy as you might think. Trust me. Will the internet bandwidth standup (or err) to modern day 'work' practise.

Got my parents the holy grail.... Toilet paper. 12 rolls. If they get constipation that stuff is going to just get worth more and more.
Went into work to pick some stuff off my desk like earphones and spare phone and some of my thick cunt colleagues were still in despite being told not come in. I asked one why they were in and she said give me a reason why you shouldn't be here.... Jesus christ. Can't think of a single one.....

I guess we've finally seen some real action. Eateries and entertainment are off the menu but 80% of the workers wages paid by the government. I guess what's needed is actual lockdown not half hearted stuff expecting people to do the right thing. Just don't give them the option.
My work is to continue on a skeleton staff and I didn't make the cut! Our system is bespoke and can't be homeworked so I guess it's DIY for me.
On the plus side when I went over to my parents the roads were empty and I gave that V4 plenty.

I think here in NL there is no immediate plan for a lockdown....bars, restaurants etc were shutdown last weekend. Still people about , I went food shopping earlier and not busy....no panic, plenty of food. It’s these fuckin tossers panic buying, like I’ve seen in the uk news, that are spoiling it for everyone else, especially those in greater need. Tossers.

I was in Sainsburys this morning at half nine, many shelves were still empty.
Wandered dejectedly over to the bog roll aisle expecting nothing but what is this? Two members of staff with a PALLET of toilet rolls.
At least six other fellow plebs had got there before me and I swear that for just a couple of seconds, I turned into a lion on the Serengeti that had just spotted a lame gazelle.
It all worked out rather well; we queued up, the Sainsburys lady dealt out the rations and nobody was brought down in a flurry of gore.

Had a shit 24 hours yesterday. Left for work early to drop a new watch over to my son that had been delivered. They were short of essentials so I drove them to a Morrison's and although there wasn't many customers in there, the shelves were empty. Told the ex to grab whatever was available that they needed and after scouring the shelves for 30 minutes we came out with about £17 worth of shopping. It was literally toiletries, cat food and a few snacks.
Dropped them off and headed to work. Decided to try my Tesco store and it was the same there. Came out of there with coffee and a few cakes for my parents. Just before I got to work some cunt driving in the opposite direction smashed my wing mirror off down a lane. Fuck all I could do about that so I just drove to work and ordered a new one up on eBay.
Left work in morning and some poor sod had an accident just outside the Dartford tunnel. Car was on fire. This meant I was stuck in traffic for an hour not moving at all. Finally got going but by the time I got to Tesco to try to get shopping for my parents it was gone 07:30 and the queues were mental.
Ended up just going home. Back in tonight.

FFS Droog, you've smashed a few mirrors at some point this year. Shit part about this is unless you live near someone on the forum there's not much you can do regarding helping out with food. We've got 'enough' but part of that was a few weeks back I said to my wife maybe to buy a little more than usual and start overshopping just a bit. Luckily we got all the craze items like pasta.
If you've got a Home Bargains near by go there Droog, they've loads of cheap protein so at least you can bang back something other than carbs if needed. Only £11/kg at about 80% protein. Good enough to get a bit of an intake mix if things get tough. Got myself a couple of bags in so that's 80 servings. Should be enough. Cheap 180 tubs of multivitamins as well for only about £5.
My crossbow is coming tomorrow and oddly enough a mate I dropped in on today has just bought one, his sister has some field for her horse so we can get some practice in there. Going full American. Come at me bro.
