No it doesn't. Think of it this way. Some people 'cannot differentiate' fake news from facts. That doesnt mean that all fake news are fact.

www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/08-02-2021-lab-alert-Clarifications_about_Retirement_CDC_2019_Novel_Coronavirus_1.htmlDoes the CDC 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel detect both SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and influenza (flu)?
No. The CDC 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel was specifically designed to only detect SARS-CoV-2 viral genetic material. It does not detect influenza or differentiate between influenza and SARS-CoV-2. The presence of influenza viral genetic material within a specimen will not cause a false positive result.
There are other multianalyte tests available, including the CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 Multiplex Assay, that can simultaneously detect and differentiate Influenza A, Influenza B, and SARS-CoV-2.If the PCR test doesnt detect flu, only covid, it cannot differentiate between the two. I guess the initial release on the subject wasn't clear enough. Looks like they have canned that test because there are newer tests available which can detect both, and tell you what you have got.

When you google around this subject its funny how some people are saying covid is just normal flu, because the normal flu numbers are down. Maybe the flu numbers are down because of social distancing, mask wearing, washing hands and all the other measures.

It doesn't matter anyway now as the dominant strain isn't the same problem. The fact we have no more lockdowns and record cases proves that. Two more people in the team got it and it was just sinus pain and a cough for them. The previous ones had all had flu like symptoms despite vaccination.
Since notable figures have been saying we won't be needing a fourth jab they must be expecting the end of old school covid. Meanwhile all the Welsh and Scottish will still be not allowed to do anything because the sniffles are going around.
Always remember. Until they change the data from deaths FOR ANY REASON within 28 days of a positive test we'll never get to bottom of this. Average age of covid deaths still 82 as well. THE DANGER!!!
Don't forget, if you fancy it there jobs going in Austria to 'hunt' the unvaccinated if you fancy some Nazi nostalgia.

Vaccinations stop viruses multiplying within your body, thus reducing it's effectiveness to cause long term damage or even death; THEY DON'T STOP YOU CATCHING THE VIRUS. So that's alright is it? The message I hear when someone like you says, "Average age of covid deaths still 82 as well. THE DANGER!!!", is this: "Don't take the vaccine because it makes no difference, do as you like, go where you like, mix with whomever you like and let the elderly die"! WELL FUCK YOU! I lost a parent 10 years ago and I'm not prepared to lose another because some dumb fucks don't understand or don't want to because is goes against their narrative! Scientists have always said that there is a small chance of death from COVID-19 and that the older you are, the more susceptible you will be to the virus. This statement has not changed since the start of the pandemic. But some people don't want to hear that do they? No, they'd rather listen to nut jobs on YouTube who are not qualified in virology, no back ground in science or, if they do, their theories have been disproved by those that do! SHUT THE FUCK UP MEKON AND CRAWL BACK UNDER YOU FUCKING ROCK!

The fact that you have no more restrictions and record cases only proves that you have a total clown running the country. The rest of your post is laced with so much dumbfuckery that it's unclear whether you're trolling or simple. I suspect both so there's no point ripping it apart. Army called in to support NHS in London despite despite no further restrictions to control the spread of the virus proves that BJ is a fucking clown. www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-59902220The number of patients in Scotland hospitalised with "the sniffles" increases by 50% in a week. www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-59921129

Interesting analogy regarding Austria and the nazis considering that Mekon seems ok with sacrificing the weak and the elderly so that his life can return to normal. There's no easy answer but my personal opinion is that we need to strive to increase our body's immune system naturally by actually looking after it and eating healthily. As a species we have let ourselves go on a mammoth scale and become reliant on chemicals to restore the balance.

We also need to sort out the NHS as well. 2017/18 we had a bad flu season which had patients being treated on trolleys in corridors.

Compared to this time last year, the % of people in hospital is. Wales 38% NI 43.6% England 57.9% Scotland 91.6% (it has rocketed in the past 10 days) That makes Scotland look bad, but when you compare the number of people in hospital as a % of population its currently England 0.0284% Scotland 0.0230% Wales 0.0229% NI 0.0212% I think last years let everyone mix at Christmas in England was a bad call. It caused havoc. Given that there are a lot of people going into hospital for other reasons than covid, but test +ve for it as they are testing everyone (this latest variant is causing as severe illness & vaccine is working) is distorting the figures. The Army have been called in to help in the past as well, so its nothing new. I think that the decision to have less restrictions in England is ok, for the time being anyway. BJ is a clown though, no doubts there.

Like a lot of things in life, its not B&W. All NHS staff must be vaccinated. I think that was to protect patients from catching covid if they are in hospital and more venerable with some other problem they dont want to catch covid on top. But if they are working in a covid ward, that cant really apply. Staff wont be working on covid and non covid wards at the same time. As a consultant anaesthetist, he would be in close up contact with patients intubating them etc. If he is happy with that, then let him carry on. If he gets covid and dies (statistically unlikely at his age and health status by the look of him), thats his choice to remain unvaccinated. I dont think that is a covid ward, however, as we have a politician and camera crew wandering around. Being vaccinated doesn't stop you catching covid though, although it may stop you developing it and being more contagious for a while. As time has gone on, this omicron variant causes less serious illness, so should the same logic and rules apply now as it did 1 year ago? I dont think so. We need to move with the times. What will the next variant be like? If current vaccines are ineffective, its back to square one. We cant sack consultant anaesthetists, as they dont grow on trees. It takes years to get to that stage. I think the plan is to move them away from primary care as a first option before sacking them. Then maybe get them back in their initial roles after covid is out the way. I think an ICU nurse has to be a regular nurse for 4 years before they can train move into ICU. That could just be what a Dutch nurse told me though about their system. The UKs top windsurfing slalom champion for many years was a consultant anaesthetist. I called him a doctor once. 'I'm a CONSULTANT' was the first response He lost his crown last year, I think he has been champ for 7-8 years, or more. I did wonder if it was lack of time on the water, or if young Scotty is really flying.

Novak Djokovic. Unvaccinated, but had covid last December. I dont know the Ozzie law, but from what I have heard with the correct certificate thats ok to be allowed in. If his paperwork was out of order, he could stay in detention and sort the paperwork out. As a top world player, it would be good to let him play. Leading MPs say no.
May 2022 its the deadline for their federal election in Australia.
Are the 2 linked?
Djokovic made a point of tweeting he didnt want the vaccine. The Ozzies have had a tough time with covid and lockdown because their vaccine rollout was slow (lack of supply and distribution iirc). Loads of Ozzies dont think he should be allowed in. So their judge has said he is fine, going against what leading MPs have been saying. Will he play or will their immigration minister do the 'popular' thing and boot him out?

Tennis Australia had a 10th December deadline for exemption applications but Djokovic said he tested positive on 17th, so apparently he applied for an exemption when he wasn't COVID positive??......sounds a bit iffy to me. If the Government still go ahead and cancel his visa, which they can, he's banned from the country for 3 years...not good for Tennis Australia. The Government also did a u-turn so they look like tits bowing to public outrage (and maybe/probably because there's an election coming up). Tennis is a sport where you could argue that the risk of transmission is a lot lower than team sports, so as long as a player tests daily and is negative maybe should be allowed to play. Unfortunately this has all got political and nobody is going to come out of this smelling of roses.
