Has anyone been watching 'The Outsider'? Its absolutely brilliant...Last episode on Monday. Cant fucking wait. I would normally give Stephen King stuff a swerve but Ive been glued to this. Very dark indeed. Well, seeing as how I swerve Stephen King stuff because in my opinion he can tell a brilliant story but can't finish one, you are about to be very frustrated.

This is a public health warning...
DO NOT WATCH UPSIDE DOWN WITH KIRSTEN DUNST AT ALL COSTS. I thought that we could watch a romantic drama with Sci-Fi twist, however, we got 10 minutes in and it was yanked from the Blu-ray player. The premise of this film seemed intriguing, but I had forgotten how wooden Kirsten Dunst's acting can be and how her soulless eyes can put you to sleep within minutes.
Unfortunately Dunst peaked with Interview with the Vampire and I some how made it through Melancholia just so that I could see a planet land on her head.
... avoid Upside Down at all costs.

Hopefully, for you the video people redid the ending. Its his books where I've facepalmed at the bungling. I read two and won't read another.

I've read a handful of Stephen King books. A few have been brilliant (The Shining) but a couple have been complete pants. I wouldn't bother again simply because there are several authors who are consistently brilliant (Nesbo, Rankin, MacBride) and I tend to read when I'm having a shite so my book consumtion is steady but not prolific.

I can't recall the order I read them. Possibly The Stand then Under The Dome. The Stand was okay. Basically a 'better' virus that Covid 19 that cleaned out 99% of everyone. There were two types of survivors, naughty types and clean living types. The naughty types were lead by a devil type fella and wanted to sort out the polite ones. The ending was lame but it was the end at the end. As for Under The Dome, it was an interesting concept. A fucking massive cloche type thing over a bible belt town. The main man was a proper bastard and he was the focus. I was expecting him to get sorted and was enjoying the build up. The suddenly SK killed him off (rubbishly) will plenty of book to go. It then minced on until the most cuntish of endings. Coincidentally as the then main characters got a weepy and done some prayers, the never yet mentioned child aliens decided to lift the dome off. Weak as piss. I think SK got carried away after early success and just spouts bollocks until he says 'oh shit, what do do next' and asks a five year old for advice.

I really enjoyed Under the Dome but now you mention it, the ending was bollocks. I read the Stand years ago and can't remember a single fucking thing about it.
If you like a crime thriller, Jo Nesbo is the current king but I'd read them in order for maximum appreciation.

I watched Knives Out over a week ago and frankly I'm still raging. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good film. A classic whodunit with twists and turns and it even features Daniel Craig with a southern drawl. BUT, and it's a fucking big BUT, it also stars Jamie Lee Curtis. She's in her 60s, has grey hair and this is not how I wanted to fucking remember her ðŸ˜

For combination of hotness and maturity, JLC peaked in True Lies... especially with that dance.

I watched Vanilla Sky for the first time today! Odd that I never saw it but I sort of hate Cameron Diaz so that was maybe why?
Anyway what a cool film but what I don't understand is why Penelope Cruz was such hot stuff at one point. She looked pretty plain even in her prime.

My hot swimwear image remains intact as long as she stays low key and out of the media. Jamie Lee Curtis in her prime had probably the perfect titties ever. Ever!!
