Roger Waters was fucking incredible last night. Even better that the tickets were free. One complaint was that there was too much chat from the doddery old cunt but the tunes and the stage show were mind blowing.

Went to see Guns N Roses on Friday.
Not sure what to say really. If you value the amount of performance in terms of time on stage for money paid then it was quite a good gig really, over three hours of performance, you can't accuse them of short-changing the audience.
I was almost expecting Axl to be unbearable, but he wasn't, he's got a lot of energy in him for sure and I never saw them live in their day either so can't say if he's lost any of what ability he had.
Slash was great, better than expected, and if I'm honest was the highlight of it all.
They played all the crowd pleasers, and some of the lesser knpwn stuff for the geeks.
In all honesty, after three hours I'd drunk so much whisky I can hardly remember the lest half hour.
If you've never seen them, and really want to, I'd say it is worth going to see the show. Not a life changing experience though.

Saw the long awaited Black Keys gig on Saturday at the Hydro, Glasgow. Impressive set mixing the earlier, rawer blues numbers with the more recent rockier stuff. They have constructed a unique sound and Dan Auerbach must be up there with the guitar greats. Fucking awesome. Good value at £45 a head which included two support bands. Me and my mate were in the stalls towards the rear and only downer was the two clowns in front of us who were either shouting a conversation to each other, holding up their fucking phones to record the show or worse, the most pished one got on his mates shoulders thinking it was fucking Glastonbury. Thankfully they moved on to inflict their cuntiness elsewhere.

The Walkmen were incredible. Utterly ferocious from start to finish they burned a fucking hole in Glasgow last night. The Rat was despatched early doors and was completely spine tingling but Angela Surf City was another face melting highlight. Very underrated band.

Saw Ocean Colour Scene last night at Glasgow O2 Academy. What a brilliant show they put on. Tight as fuck, excellent sound and the venue was old school concert hall. Quite intimate.
Downside, and this is becoming a recurring theme with Glasgow gigs, maybe it’s me becoming an unsociable cunt but you pay good money go to live gigs so why don’t you sit down/stand up and enjoy. Cunts were back and forward all night getting rounds in at the bar and getting right on my fucking tits. Alky bastards!!!
