Still waiting to see an empty supermarket shelf. Seen plenty of temporary out of stock items. Never a complete empty aisle, but honey, jams, tinned tomatoes, bread once as well, that was a surprise.

Who the f**k is The Foxhole? I had a look when Deleted first linked to one of their 'news stories'. Run by Leave.EU people. Method: search through Daily Fail, Express and other right wing media and pull out just the anti immigration, anti EU, anti Islam, anti police stories and 'report' on them, adding stuff like the woke left want this shit etc. I cant recall any positive news stories at that time. Seemed a very dark website, just peddling crap. ps Foxhole seems a good name for their site. The 'journos' sit in a hole in the ground at take potshots at people.

According to Budha Noodle, we are on the verge of starvation! But coming from and enviromental socialist that brags about getting a Jaguar fuel slurper, it would be prudent to dismiss anything that useless hypocrital commie dwarf says.

And so says those who quote the very reliable and trustworthy BBC om a regular basis. Yeah sure, the BBC is anti Brexit and never reports the truth. Have a read through the BBC's lorry driver shortage issue, referencing the Haulage Association's survey. It mentions covid as 1 reason why there is a shortage. It also mentions Brexit, IR35 etc. The BBC article Foxhole News links to refers to is Ikea in the UK, which says its a perfect storm of Brexit & covid. www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-58443653Foxhole news says the Dutch Ikea place their shortage purely on covid. Well no shit, thats because the Dutch dont have Brexit adding more numbers to their total of lorry driver shortage. But strangely, in comments reported by a Dutch newspaper, the firm has instead focused its attention squarely on the coronavirus pandemic instead when discussing shortages elsewhere in the world…The odd discrepancy was spotted by muckrakers at the Guido Fawkes political blog, who highlighted how British pro-EU obsessives are keen to latch on to dubious corporate statements blaming Brexit as they “are refusing to accept the lorry driver shortage is global”.Foxhole news is saying British pro EU obsessives are ignoring covid and global shortage, but in fact the BBC article they quote mentions covid. And fuckwits actually believe that shit. Later in Foxhole News mentions Wetherspoons beer supply issues. Last week, the bitter losers of the 2016 EU referendum were quick to jump on news that Wetherspoons, the legendary pub chain owned by pro-Brexit business maestro Tim Martin, was experiencing a temporary shortage of some beers – suggesting that the situation was poetic justice for Mr Martin’s patriotic support for national independence. But Martin was quick to hit back at economically illiterate pro-EU critics, pointing out: “It has been widely reported that there are shortages of 400,000 HGV drivers in Germany, France and Spain, for example, and Germany, in particular, is struggling with major worldwide supply chain issues.”Its been widely reported that there is a shortage of 400,000 HGV drivers across ALL the 27 EU countries, not just Germany, France and Spain. Thats 4 times the UK's shortage. The thing is, the population of the 27 EU countries is 6.6 times that of the UK. So per head of population, they have less of a shortage than the UK. As mentioned previously, Germany's shortage is 40,000. Earlier you said ' I can't make head nor tale of this logic'. Is it any clearer yet? The UK's shortage is worse than the EU's because we have Brexit, they dont.

Brexit was always economic suicide but the decision not to delay it during a pandemic was unfathomably reckless. We are now seeing the negative effects of Brexit and the pandemic exacerbating each other and making, for example, the HGV shortage impact the UK much more severely than Europe. That much isn't even up for debate and I'm personally seeing huge daily difficulties trying to do work in the EU.
So, it's not even a year since we left the EU and we have food shortages and a Brexit tax making UK taxes the highest since the end of WWII. Let that sink in. And it's forecast to get worse.

23 June 2016 we had the referendum. 24 June 2016 we had the result. 14 July 2016 Chris Grayling was appointed Minister for Transport. Grayling, Grayling, that name rinds a bell..... on the run up to when we were going to leave the EU he gave DFDS (Danish) and Brittany (French) ferry companies a shit load of money to put on new ferries to keep our supply chain going in case of a no deal and disruption. Oh, and Seabourne Freight, a British company (hurrah) who had no ferries (eh! WTF). They went bust.
Guess it as too much of a task for him to predict that EU nationals might not want to stay in the UK after Brexit. Loads of reports of them being told to fuck off home after the referendum.
24 July 2019 Grant Shapps took over. He has waited until now doing fuck all then decided to look at the HGV driver testing to increase the number of drivers we have. Just googled what he has been up to. Massive success though here. He (from the Home Counties) has sent old retired train carriages up North for them to use as family support centres at hospitals, a kitchen for mental health charity and a new classroom for kids. How the hell is he going to heat those in winter? Are they fit for purpose? I've seen upcycled carriages as cafes alongside disused railway lines, railway museums, novelty B&B etc in summer tourist season which are good ideas, but not sure about classrooms for kids.

C'mon for fucks sakes, a lack of Milkshakes in McDonalds or Nandos dropping an item off of their menu because they have ran out of chickem thighs at one of their outlets in London does not constitute a food shortage.
Scare mongering of the highest order. All I ask is where are the empty supermarket shelves, because I don't see any.
