Has anyone else noticed that Droog hasn't logged on for a month? Yes, he said a while ago he was fed up with the tone of things lately, and it has been getting worse. It might be that, it might be something else, like he said he has been busy. Its up to people if they want to read the banter/off topic stuff. 3 weeks ago I ordered a £20k shipment of fuel cells and methanol to be sent from my UK supplier to a site in Ireland. Pre Brexit this would have gone on a pallet and arrived in 3-5 working days.
My shipment is still sitting in a container on a UK dock. They won't shift it until the container is full. Once it arrives in Dublin, it then has to go through a clearing process which I need to pay an agent to undertake. This took weeks last time. On top of the time delays, the financial costs of sending goods to Ireland have gone utterly mental. My UK supplier is now trying to arrange deliveries direct from Germany to Ireland as this will be both cheaper and quicker.
Meanwhile, I have some very expensive equipment on site which will soon run out of power and could potentially suffer damage as a result.
It must be horrendous for small suppliers, particularly if they're transporting perishable goods.
This is the reality of Brexit. We are not better off and we will never be better off unless we can trade freely with our nearest neighbours.

Not disappeared yet. Just the first time in ages I have had a day off. Been a zombie for weeks now. 12 hour nights, no days off and loads going on outside work. Nothing bad just busy. Messaged the admin details to Eddie as it's best he is running the show completely now. Even when things settle down, I won't have much spare time for a while. Catching up on BSB and WSB now so won't be checking out any other posts on the forum until I have watched all of the racing.
