Thank you. I received the donation No66 I could add an inbuilt wordpress forum to the site but seeing as this one works and is stable, I figured we should keep it for now. I doubt we could transfer the contents from here to a new one without it being a drama. Might be something to do when I have more spare time but if everyone wants me to build a new inbuilt forum I will. I wanted to get the site layout basics right first and then look at writing our own content, images and the podcast idea. Once I get the aprilia finished I will concentrate on the site more. It is far from the finished article but I am happy with it so far. I might apply for press accreditation for a one off meeting next year for instance, Brands Hatch BSB but I figured it would be best to build the site audience up first and get everything sorted before we worry about getting accredited. Ideally I'd like us to take a video camera and interview riders at the meetings. Something a bit more informal and fun. Lots of images of the bikes in the paddock as well as the circuit and a short write up of the race meeting. The days of people being bothered to read a good well written article are probably behind us now sadly.
I just love the idea of a motorcycle racing news site that has no intrusive advertising. I looked at Bike Sport News the other day without my adblock on. It looks like one of them old banner advertising farm websites you used to get about 18 years ago! As for Crash.net, they are on another level for spamming visitors. In fact it was their site that made me suggest the idea in the first place.
Ideally this all needs to be fun as well. I work full time doing night-shifts and like everyone else have other commitments at home. So doing this needs to be enjoyable and it has been. As before, any ideas or if anyone else wants login details to post news to the site, just get in touch.

Sorry I can't be much use Droog. Since becoming the oldest dad on the forum last year my time is pretty much taken up with family stuff and work.
I'll gladly chip in for next year's fees if we need a top up though.

Great stuff Droog. Between us we must have have every BSB round covered. One idea I had was a random 'day with' a rider from every class. Nothing intrusive and the odd photo. |

It's understandable Norbs. Sounds good Eddie. Once things are up and running we can do all sorts of ideas and see how they work. Anonymous industry insiders spilling info and 5 minutes with a rider or team manager could be good as well. One to watch where we highlight an emerging talent. Actually probably best we brainstorm over skype group chat. Probably get all our ideas stolen  |

Update on the main website. Everything is sorted now regarding the site template and press releases are coming in. What we now need is original content. I will have a bit more time to write shortly but if anyone has anything to offer or knows of a rider who would like their own column featured on the site, let me know. Gradually growing the twitter account. If there is anyone you want us to follow in particular let me know.

Anyone want to help with posting news on the site? Just spent the last two hours writing out the Friday practice times and uploading press releases from yesterday. Be really helpful is a couple of others could assist. Finished work at 06:00 and I'm knackered. Gonna stay up for the first Saturday sessions if I can.
