It's never been the fans Paul, or even the players. Try watching any game where England aren't playing and count how many times they are mentioned. This also happens at world cups where they didn't even qualify. When the entire TV coverage is London based and you get this constantly, you can't blame the rest of the UK for getting a bit tired of it.
Anyway, I'd quite like England to progress to at least the semis or even the final, just not win the fucking thing because we'll never hear the end of it.

To be fair, as a Mick it would always be a case of ABE for me but the way that Southgate has conducted himself and the fuckwittery perpetrated by the Colombians has won me over. That said, there are Hippo's in London zoo with a better first touch than Lingard.

They mentioned the England Sweden game during half time in the Brazil Belgium game, which is fair enough, but why would they discuss Scotland? Try watching the Olympics on the main BBC channel and pick a sport where no GB competitors shine. I like to know who has won the windsurfing and canoe/kayaking as they are my current and old pastimes. They show a GB competitor's performance if they win or sometimes are down the field but never show a winning performance if its Johnny Foreigner. I suppose its how you perceive any bias. |

England will get to the final now, they are better all over than Croatia but either France or Belgium will be favourites. For me still France, just. That song is doing my head in though.

Enjoyed the Sweden v England game for the lack of cheating... Some of the shenanigans in previous games by the , mainly South American teams, has been a disgrace. As a Scot I’m not in the ABE camp, I never understand why so many are, Ive never had the same anti-Scotland nonsense from my English mates...
Anyway I wish England well and if they win, great.....but I still think both France and Belguim have the edge..it’ll be one of those two that lifts the WC....
