You are an utter cunt Droog. Spent most lunchtime looking at old strokers trying to find something like a cheap RG125 Wolf.

I nearly purchased a tzr 125 project bike (rusty pile of broken bits) but I think I might just buy a half decent aprilia RS125 that needs a bit of tidying up and tune the tits off of it.

Been off-line for the week due to depression lol. Last weekend was a total fuck up. Can't be bothered to type it al up so copied this from my social media post: Expensive weekend! Had car accident Saturday morning in my car. Borrowed another car yesterday and the drive shaft went! Took my son's motorbike out for a test ride this afternoon before the MOT and the engine seized up! Paying for repairs to my car plus another. Also had to buy a new drive shaft and fit that for the other car. Just ordered up a new cylinder, piston and rings plus gaskets for the motorcycle. Gonna be a hermit for a bit. Off to bed for a snooze. Work tonightFeel a bit better about it all now but it was one fucking expensive 48 hours without any fun. Fixed my car by touching up the damaged paint and giving the wing/bumper a mop. That will have to do for now. Other car will be taken care of by insurance. No claims gone now. The other car I got a new drive shaft for but it turns out I missed that the transmission mount had snapped so gotta do that also. That's why the drive shaft went. As for the aprilia, I changed the gearing but it was still a little out. Was in 5th doing 67MPH and as I went to change to 6th it nipped up. Wasn't dramatic but it meant I had to push it back over 3 miles. Will go a further tooth down to 14. Too busy to do it right now but will order up another 70cc kit and go up a bit on the jetting and maybe a notch on the needle. Gutted but it is so much fun to ride. I'm over 12 stone and my son is about 8.5 stone so it will fly with him on it. Will do the updates I haven't bothered to do on the website now. Last weekends MotoGP and this weekends WSB. Just had to do an exhaust on my missus oldest daughters car. Kwik-Fit wanted nearly £400 to replace it. It is only a 1.4 petrol 2009 Fiesta. Managed to get a new back box for £42 then I had to cut the old one off and join it. The original is all one pipe to the manifold. Only took me 40 minutes to do it all.
Sometimes I feel cursed. I was a total cunt when I was young though.

Fucking hell lad, thought I was having bad luck with my shitter of a mini (just also noticed passenger wing is cracked and it also had a small dent and scrape on the side), how many mirrors did you break?
Maybe karma is real? I sometimes think it's karma for pirating tens of thousands of £ of software and media.
Sometimes you do just feel like life is not giving you break even though a lot of the time it's still '1st world problems' but it still gets you down. I guess the problem is when things that initially 'keep you occupied' turn into chores and stuff like fixing up a bike goes from expectation to trepidation and possibly disinterest and then the bad feeling sets in.
People say money can't buy you happiness but it can pay for a driveshaft.

I'd have had that TT off of you. Been looking a Mini Coopers but I'm skint now. Love the Gay car thread.

Should have gone Volvo. Then again my mate's formerly clockwork Volvo has now decided ABS and ESP doesn't work. Electronics are the devils work.
Still wish I had a stroker but would only be satisfied with a 250 really, something like a Mito would get annoying after a while, I remember my RG125fun was frustrating once you got on open roads and my mate on his zxr400 would just fuck off.
They are also so expensive, even the shitters. Can't believe the price of stuff being sold as 'projects'

Perhaps the gods gave you a break and cancelled that rain storm.

Stripped it down today. As I thought it had seized but not because of the jetting. The thermostat is fucked. It had cold seized. No detonation and perfect digestive brown on the electrode made me dig a little deeper to find the cause. Ordered another 70cc airsal kit (this comes with new everything for the top end), new studs for the cylinder, new plug, 14 tooth front sprocket and just to be safe, a couple of sizes up main jet. Took photos of the damage and will upload later. Hopefully have it done by Sunday if parts arrive by Saturday.

It is back up and running again. Will give it a clean and put the 14 tooth sprocket on tomorrow. Just got to wait on a flasher unit for it then it's off for an mot. I will run it in before I hand it over. Can't trust the boy to do that properly.

I've forgotten how to do loads of stuff that I used to know. Old age is a bastard lol. I've fuck all patience but experience in doing a project or two over the last few decades helps you get over the disappointments when they arise. The trick is to know when to switch off and walk away but have the desire to get it finished. You also have to understand that sometimes you have to compromise and make do instead of expecting perfection.
