Here's a thought. That's 10 days since the Queen died and as far as we're led to believe she has been either in transit or lying in state since then. At no point as far as i can decipher was she either embalmed or in cold storage so the question is, are people queuing for hours to pay their last respects to the actual queen or a weighted wooden box? Been thinking the same thing. It's like going to see the Crown jewels except the ones on public display are actually fakes. The whole forced mourning has become oppressive. Seeing royal family members in military uniform with chests full of medals must be quite offensive to veterans who actually earned them, like ginger Harry. You know, the one who actually served in Afghanistan but needs special permission to wear his fucking uniform 😒 At least we're getting a day off work. Unless of course you work at the Crown Estate like my mate in which case you'll be enjoying a fortnight off on full fucking pay. Utterly bonkers scenes. |

Oliver Frey died last month age 74. Only found out as I got an email from a retro gaming site so you could live stream his funeral! What times we live in. He was the bloke whose work adorned a lot of gaming mags in the 80s. His artwork was far better than the games turned out to be! I've actually found it to be one of those reflective moments when someone from your era of youth interests dies and you realise you're well along the path yourself and past the half way point.  |

And the missus has just told me Chrissy Rouse has died, oh dear, Ready had a good shot at it but young Chris just starting out and trying to get his career going, thats more sad in a way.
RIP to the pair of you.
