I never really rated Minder but The Sweeney was great….I watched the film version a few weeks ago, from 1977, John Thaw would’ve been 35 but he looked ten years older. Is it just me or did people generally look older than their years back in the day?….

I never really rated Minder but The Sweeney was great….I watched the film version a few weeks ago, from 1977, John Thaw would’ve been 35 but he looked ten years older. Is it just me or did people generally look older than their years back in the day?…. Early Minder was brilliant. The Sweeney was brilliant throughout. Waterman co-starred with two of best, and not many got that. |

Fred Ward passed away a few days ago. Not an A-lister, but a good solid supporting actor; the first time I became aware of him was in Tremors, which is a ridiculous b-movie, but highly entertaining!
