I'm putting my money on nipper MacKenzie. He's not a Brands god but I think he's got enough to edge it.
O Halloran has lost his flow. Bridewell is....Bridewell. If you get Oulton Bridewell who knows but he doesn't show up much. Iddon is perhaps the nearest challenger but I kind see something daft happening like Brookes winning and not obey team orders.

Weather forecast looks promising so it's down to laying it on the line and the Taz is the one i think will make the killer pass. Iddon, O'Hallaron, and Bridewell need to chuck their brains out the toolbox. Spoilers will be Brookes, Rea, and the flying plumber. Going to be epic

Fp1 - Bridewell fastest of the actual challengers in 4th. Mac 7th, O show and Iddon 10th and 11th.
Think O Halloran has choked. Pity but thems the rules I guess.
Rea fast again in 2nd and a Hickman 1st.
Temp was only 12 so far but it seems it only a high of 14 all weekend anyway.

All change in FP2. O'Halloran and Iddon pick their pace up at the end. Still no idea about this one.

Anyones. 1st race tomorrow will set the tone i reckon. If O'halloran wins it and MacKenzie has a bad day then it's race management for him for next 2. Bridewell basically needs to win stuff.
Brookes could be really useful to Iddon if Iddon can get infront of his rivals.

Cold and drizzly for Q1.
Bridewell and MacKenzie didnt bother with FP3.

Mossey's 1st ride in BSB this year as a signing for next year and gets a runout this round and he sticks it on pole! Will he take a win in the race today, the weather forecast looks iffy.

Taz looked good, Iddon and Bridewell proving the exciting passes. Taz increased his small lead but 1 mishap tomorrow....

O halloran is out of it I reckon. Well down the grid for race 2. Realistically Mackenzie has to dnf of have 2 real stinkers to lose now.

What a way to win your title. He could have settled for 2nd, but saw the opportunity and took it. Well done Taz. It nearly ended up in a heap a few laps earlier for the pair. You dont see many rear end shunts like that and both riders staying on board. I wouldnt want to be his parents watching all that

Tommy 'sour grapes' Bridewell could have left his outburst for a later interview. Crying about being a budget operation straight away was a bit classless. They are hardly racing out the back of a transit van with his dad's mate doing the spannering and his mum getting tyre warmers ready.
Good when a BSB winner moves up as it makes the series a bit more legitimate imo.

Nasty 600 crashes. Well, could have been nasty given how fast those bikes were flying into the gravel. Amazing how few the serious injuries are when you look at the 'if it was 1/10s later' scenarios that happen.

Maybe O'Halloran wasn't that quick? Maybe everyone was just playing the showdown game? MacKenzie certainly played it well when he sat out Cadwell.
It is what it is but I don't think there's any need for it under the current bike rules.
