On a slight tangent…..If Big Tech were made to pay the taxes they should be paying it would probably cover the cost of Furlough….no need to make those on low incomes suffer…a sure fire vote winner for any party.
Johnson doing his usual blah blah without saying anything.

They only seem to react to whats currently happening, not thinking and planning ahead. Or maybe they did think ahead, and thought we would all be ok with the shit and recall the blitz mentality, we can get through this as we did in WW2 etc. He begrudgingly said we will let 5,000 EU drivers in to help out. But on a 3 month visa? Who in their right mind would give up working in the EU to work in the UK again? All the paperwork for applying, tax, IR35, pension, etc. Its not worth it. You might get some who are at the end of a contact and looking for the next job and are using the UK as a stocking filler. Some might have close friends over here and would welcome the time here. Just 127 people apply for a visa and the fuckwit says it just shows that there is a worldwide shortage, nothing to do with Brexit or the 3 months visa, exchange rate etc. It is partly to do with the worldwide shortage, drivers can pick and choose now, they aren't desperate for work. What message does it send to EU workers when he says the UK doesnt want cheap foreign workers as he wants to #BuildBackBetter without them. Hardly a friendly message. If it were me, I'd say fuck you. I think the 3 months visa was part of the plan to deter EU workers, so few would apply, so he could say that they are delivering on their promise of reducing EU immigration. The only things I can recall BJ saying recently which ring true are 1) in that interview the life of a trucker in the UK is poor quality due to facilities, pay and conditions (thats also why only 127 applied for a visa dickhead). 2) He mentioned elsewhere there are difficult times ahead. Its only now the Tories are giving a shit about the plebs as the UK is slowly falling apart.

When I were a lad I thought that being a long distance trucker was cool, but the reality is probably crap food, poor health due to sitting on your arse for long periods and crap pay...

Its only now the Tories are giving a shit about the plebs as the UK is slowly falling apart. That last sentence contains the biggest contradiction. He got the poor northerners, lifelong labour voters to vote Tory on the promuse that Uncle Boris won't let you down and he's now building back better (what the fuck does that actually mean) and he wants them to keep voting Tory. Well if they really knew Boris they might have realised that the cunt has lied and blagged his entire career and let's start by removing universal credit and increasing national health contributions. As we get nearer to the next election the enticements will kick off and the whole circle of shit will begin again.

What message does it send to EU workers when he says the UK doesnt want cheap foreign workers as he wants to #BuildBackBetter without them. Hardly a friendly message. If it were me, I'd say fuck you. But that's standard Tory tactics. By using the expression "cheap foreign labour" he's framing foreign workers as the villains as if they've deliberately asked to be paid less. The reason they're poorly paid is because capitalism. It doesn't create jobs, it exploits the labour of the desperate for profit. So are companies just going to shrug their shoulders now and pay more while accepting lower profits as a result? Like fuck. Expect massive price rises and huge inflation. In similar news, Kwasi Kwarteng was on earlier blaming energy companies for the current price rises. "It costs the same to take it out the ground but they're charging you more" the thick cunt said. No shit. That's what happens when you privatise the energy supply and create a marketplace where it's traded. Are they really this thick or do they think that we are? Either way the Tory PR machine is full steam ahead on operation blame every other cunt for our fucking mess.

Now here's a thing. America is now starting to experience many of the same problems as Britain. Firstly there's rising oil and gas prices. This seems to be entirely Biden's fault seeing as he reversed some of Trumps home supply moves and stopped further oil explorations for 'green' reasons. Americans seem to be reliant on self contained heating systems are getting further hit in the pocket.
America also had a fertilizer supply problem this year so hasn't grown as much food as usual. It's also got worker problems with continued furlough meaning people can't be arsed to work so not as many lorry drivers and port personnel...and also the there's a parts shortage for lorries so they can't keep on the road anyway. That'll teach em to use imperial.
HIGH PRICES AND EMPTY SHELVES!!! BUILD BACK BETTER!!!
