Been watching Ken Burn' Jazz documentary and it's hard to believe how fucking poor people used to be. Motherfuckers working 12 hour days to bring home enough money to maybe eat, if they were lucky.
Maybe if we have a period of crushing poverty in Britain we'll at least knock out some amazing musicians?
