Wait a minute. The orange cunt’s not crazy after all. He recognises pictures of elephants and, quite remarkably is able to subtract 7 from 100. In his head. Fucking genius.

I used to think that there is no way 'The Donald' would get in for another go around, but the more I see about the growing backlash against antifa as they try to push into the suburbs, I hate to say it, but I'll wager that Trump gets in for a second term.

I like to tell myself that there are enough decent, intelligent Americans who are utterly exhausted with this shitshow but it's not that simple. His base is made up of the poorly educated and they are readily brainwashed. And as we saw last time, getting the most votes doesn't guarantee an election win in America. One thing's for sure, this will be the dirtiest election in American history. From vile attacks on opponents to manipulation of voting, be prepared for your jaw hitting the deck with alarming regularity and if that cunt loses, he will burn the fucking country to the ground. Actually, if he wins he'll burn the fucking country to the ground.

Actually, if he wins he'll burn the fucking country to the ground. The problem Spenty has identified though is not related to Trump´s appeal to the uneducated redneck society. His stance against the far left (which let's be honest, don't do themselves many favours) will attract support from many middle class educated voters too. As I have said before, even though the man is spectacularly dumb (although I suspect that this is even an act, a bit like how Mourinho plays stupid when he's not), his administration is very clever and has used all the possible opportunities to garner support, even from the BLM movement and the backlash. I think the high visibility of the anti-fascist backlash was not due to their success and numbers, it was due to the fact that they are a convenient identifiable enemy that Trump can be seen to be combatting and were therefore allowed to become visible. Unlike Covid. And even if these clever ploys don't work to get him back in, there's always the postal votes from Russia .

I get that, I'm just not so sure it will be the overriding issue. For some reason, Trump is strong on the economy to a lot of voters yet even before the virus he had ballooned the national debt and the deficit. He brags about creating a strong economy that he inherited. Add to that the millions of job losses, small business and farm closures, upcoming mass evictions for folk that can no longer pay their rent, tear gassing peaceful demonstrations and all the fucking rest of his disastrous term then I'm not convinced a faceless organisation like Antifa will matter as much. It's up to the Democrats to steer the narrative now and shine a light on the real issues.

It's up to the Democrats to steer the narrative now and shine a light on the real issues. You're absolutely right about the steering of the narrative fella but the problem is that The Donald will push economic woes on to Covid and he has already sought to demonize China and the WHO over this. I am not saying that this will fool everyone, but existing Trump supporters don't need fooling (they have more than enough fool as it is) and it could easily convince (or at least appear logical) to many on the fence. The other issue with the demonstrations is that they have been largely left alone by state and city law enforcement within democrat controlled areas and this has been portrayed as democrats being weak and allowing lawlessness (eg CHAZ/CHOP in Seattle), and the threat of that happening in their home town is anathema to your average middle American family. The peacefulness of the demonstrations is a moot point in a presidential election. They will be portrayed as out and out anarchy, coming to suburb near you if you vote democrat. The thing is (and please don't take this as an insult because it is the polar opposite) you're looking at it through the prism of your own political awareness and, partially due to the insular media in the States, there are millions and millions of voters who don't have that insight.

You're absolutely correct but maybe the problem in America is wilful ignorance rather than lack of insight. Millions are happy to watch Fox, OANN, and similar shite because it tells them what to think saving them the bother of doing it themselves. Ultimately, it's an interesting topic and we can discuss angles, tactics and political nuances for the next couple of months without having any real input. And I think that most of us want to see the bad guy get what's coming in the final season. My real concern is how Boris plans to turn the UK into the 51st state post-Brexit and to that end we need to keep a beady eye on the American election. We should never have given the fuckers independence.

The real issue to be addressed is why Trump got elected in the first place, and could be again. Maybe 8 years of Obama wasn't that great for everyone, including a not insignificant % of Africa Americans, although the vast majority will continue to vote Democrat (God knows why...what has it got them over the recent decades?...apart from their votes being taken for granted). Maybe people were fed up with endless wars?...maybe the Dems are just as much in bed with Wall Street, Silicon Valley, big Pharma etc as the Republicans?...maybe that's why 100 million eligible voters dont actually vote!...100 million!!
Now there's lame duck Biden, who doesn't know what day it is most of the time.
P.S. Not forgetting the delightful Kamala Harris for VP....blocked new DNA evidence for wrongful convictions, sent the parents of truants to jail (impacting poor people of colour more), criminalised marijuana users then bragged about smoking it, supported Medicare for all then flip-flopped on it. What piece of crap....and what a shit-show to replace a different shit-show!!

There's no doubt in what you say Beefus, there was a tremendous push back on what was seen as democrat elites being corrupt to the core, living in the Potomac bubble and I don't think that view has changed with a lot of voters. Biden is still seen as part of that (rightly or wrongly) and there is a lot of noise around his mental health and subsequent ability to govern. There's no getting away from the fact that mainstream politics have moved away from the center and are now more polarized than ever. Like I said, I'll bet Trump gets in for a 2nd term.

You can question Biden’s mental health but he’s at least two divisions down from the toupee wearing, disinfectant injecting, shite spouting, midget fingered cunt that’s called the sitting president.
