My opinion is fuck both of them but Israel seem somewhat more cunty? I guess a lot of it is we always hear about poor jews WWII blah blah but they seem to be acting like blackshirts themselves as regards land grabbing.

Seeing this unfold on the news I just feel total apathy, it's been going on for so long that I feel conflict fatigue about the whole mess. I have some sympathy for both sides but I've got more important things to spend my time thinking about.

The UK's summer could be a washout going on current form. For those who want to go abroad on holiday without the additional UK holiday extension on return, Israel is one of the few places in the world on the UK's green list. It's extremely complex with multiple layers although religion is at the heart of it. There's no doubt that Israel is the aggressor in the region. For decades they have been stealing land from the Palestinians, evicting people from their homes, persecuting them and operating a system of apartheid. All with America's blessing (and $billions). As soon as the Palestinians retaliate they are labelled terrorists and Israel "has a right to defend itself" which they do with one of the best funded militaries on the planet. Israel is very good at playing the victim while they bomb civilians. Palestine can't defend itself on its own. If this escalates and they get hauners from other arab nations then holidays to Israel might seem slightly less attractive. It's easy to become numb to it all but images of dead children are quite difficult to ignore. |

Looking at the vids though, the jews have some serious tag team energy. The eurovision beats whip them into a synergistic fervor after the low level clothing lulls the opposition into a false sense of security. I'd imagine if the Palestinians go first they will underestimate the jew disco inferno.
