I hope there was nobody in that building. What was it used for? 3 cameras pointing at it before the rockets hit? Were they spotters for the Israelis, or does every Palestine jouro stand on top of a building during a rocket attack? Fairly sure that was from a few days ago and the building had been evacuated which suggests they had a warning. That explains it. Tell the enemy you are going to bomb that building so they can escape. I guess Hamas intermingle with civilians for this reason. I heard on the news that Hamas make a lot of their rockets, so the Israelis are after those places where they have that equipment and other kit.

This conflict has its roots embedded deep since time immemorial and will not end until one side wipes out the other or until religion suddenly disappears! All the while the lefty loons are crying that Hamas are innocents while the Jews are to blame and are prepared to turn a blind eye to the genocide of a whole nation so they can be seen as thoughtful and good lefties by appeasing the most barbaric of the religions. Honestly don't know where to start with this uninformed bollocks but I've got a busy day so I'll just address the obvious errors. 1. When was "time immemorial"? Do you have a date? A year? If you can narrow it down to a century then I'll accept that. If it helps, key periods include the late 19th century when Jewish Palestinians made up no more than 5% of the population of Palestine; the British mandate after the fall of the Ottoman Empire which lasted approximately 30 years; and the 15th of May 1948 when the state of Israel was declared on land taken by the British from the Palestinians. Since then, the state of Israel has consistently stolen land from the Palestinians and defied countless UN resolutions to stop. 2. Literally no one is "crying that Hamas are innocents." Literally everyone (apart from the Israelis) recognise that Palestinian civilians, including the dead children, are as innocent as any other civilians in any other country. Do you understand the difference between Hamas and Palestinian civilians? It's quite an important distinction. 3. And this is a biggy. What the actual fuck does "the Jews are to blame" mean? Do you understand the difference between the State of Israel and "the Jews"? Are you aware of the countless 'Jews against Israel' organisations around the world? There's one in Glasgow. My old modern studies teacher is a prominent member. He's a terrific guy. People like you who cannot understand the difference between Jewish people and the state of Israel, and simply refer to the Israeli government as "the Jews", are part of the reason his organisation exists. It's massively anti-Semitic and you really ought to stop doing it if you can. Please do some research before you post. Happy Don't be a Cunt Day.

So if you don’t mind could you take your head out of your arse and blow yourself while down there.

I despair at the actions on both sides.
I despair at the remote point scoring.

I despair at the actions on both sides. I despair at the remote point scoring. I agree. I was looking at the history of Israel and their actions since 1949 and its not good reading. Hamas just lobbing missiles seemingly at random isnt the way forward either. There are still large numbers of muslims living in Israel. Whats the point in provoking a larger power, even if they have valid gripes. Its the normal citizens who lose out in the long run, people who just want a quiet normal life. On both sides. I was thinking about the my trip to NZ in 2002. I stayed at back packer hostels I met quite a few Israelis. They were mostly having an extended break after their military conscription, and letting their hair down a bit. As I recall, there was only 1 or 2 out of a dozen who were a bit offish. I did a rafting trip near Rotorua and these 4 were the others on that trip, 1 lad 3 girls. Very nice people. After the rafting one of the girls said they were going to the natural hot water spa for the afternoon, did I fancy tagging along. I declined as I had something else planned, which didnt work out iirc. I looked up the spa later in Lonely Planet. They had hot water pools and mud pools. Imagine a bit of friendly mud wrestling...........Why the hell did I turn a possibility of that down

I despair at the actions on both sides. I despair at the remote point scoring. The comment wasn't out of joy that Austria is doing this, it’s the fact that a western country is recognizing that Hamas fired first and fired hundreds of missiles at civilian cities with the intention of the mass killing of innocents! Something the rest seem to fear doing. Israel are bang out of order for what they have been doing, but fuck me they are showing some restraint in all of this by not going in and annihilating the whole of the Gaza military.

I despair at the actions on both sides. I despair at the remote point scoring. Eddie, this "both sides" argument is just lazy. The Palestinians are living under a brutal regime of apartheid. When South Africa operated apartheid, the world condemned it. When Israel does it the world, in particular America, fully supports it. The Palestinians literally have no one on their side despite condemnation of Israeli practices by the U.N. and multiple human rights group. So a few daft wee missiles gets them brutal retaliation from a powerful military and apartheid apologists go "well you shouldn't have done that." They need an equivalent military presence to level things up. Or proper international intervention to restrict Israel's capabilities and return stolen land. www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/27/israel-committing-crime-apartheid-human-rights-watch

They fired hundreds of missiles towards civilian populations and many fell short onto their own built up areas.
You really do have a twisted view of reality.
