Still got my Astra but I purchased a C-Max off of my ex last week. It did another gearbox and she couldn't afford to have it fixed. It is low mileage for the year (2012 and 65000 miles, 1.6 TDCI) but a bit tatty in places. Been on the drive for 18 months. Purchased a second hand gearbox and and new clutch kit for it. Having it all done at a local garage as I don't have any spare time to do it myself nowadays. When it is sorted and MOT'd, I will take it to a bodywork place I know and have it made mint. Gonna let my parents have it for a few months whilst I decide what to do with it. I got them a Peugeot 108 a few months back on a 2016 plate. But they miss having their own car each. I was going to get a new car in August on finance or lease for myself. Nothing fancy, probably a Corsa. But if the C-Max comes out looking good, I'll probably keep that for a year or two instead.
