So it seems like Tizer or someone has come up with the second vaccine to be made available to the public (the first one was made in Russia, by Smirnov probably, so doesn't count).
Given that vaccines usually take about 4 years to develop and undergo years of trials, this one has been rushed through quicker than a piece of Brexit legislation.
Now I'm sure that Tizer has the interest of the public fully at the forefront of it's medical developments and that the economic benefit to its shareholders is purely secondary, but I did find it interesting to discover that in a poll in Spain (where we have arguably suffered some of the strongest restrictions to civil liberties as a result of Covid) only 56% of people said that they would be prepared to be vaccinated.
There has not been any official word on this, but in Spain, legally the government could make it obligatory although that would be a hugely unpopular political move of course. I'm not sure about the UK or other countries....
So, to get a more representative view, we need a MotoBanzai poll.

I'll kick it off by voting yes.
I'd take the risk of having the vaccine just to wander about laughing at the negationaists dying from it.

Aye, fuck it. I'd give it a go if it meant I could go back to pubs and slowly kill myself with alcoholism.

Even at age 75 you have a 96% of not dying of it. Hardly going to be dying on park benches as you stroll about saying hasta la vista to them.
I'd hold off and let some poorer nations trial it out first. Don't want to end up like the Cutter polio incident.

Depends on how the vaccine is made. If it is a modified flu vaccine using the same principals but targeting CV19 footprint it would be safer than a completely new vaccine which encouraged the body to do something different. As an example, Thalidomide for morning sickness. That resulted in deformed babies. That seems to scare people off when the word vaccine is used. That was developed and released in 1958-1962. The Cutter polio incident was in 1955. My Grandad bought a Fiat 500 in the 60 or 70s. It rusted away in no time at all. About 10 years ago my brother bought a Fiat and my Mum said that will rust like Grandad's did I think science and car production have both moved on. www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/concerns-history.htmlI'll be ok with letting other older people in poorer health or NHS workers at risk giving it a go first though.

I'd give it go, but as health secretary and supergrass, Mutt Hamcock should be made to try it first. If any cunt was going to react to it i reckon he's your man.
Also if he croaks then the loss to the nation would be minimal.
For a second opinion they should jab Rees-Mogg in case any remnants from Victorian viruses still linger in the gene pool.
Other than that, crack on.

Will it protect against the mink variant? If I'm jabbed, I can beer Eddie! I won't have the likes of you pishing in my Tennents! Thing is, given my, err, "colourful" student years, it would be somewhat hypocritical of me to refuse a drug due to a lack of transparency about possible side effects.

Sorry I dont think the UK will have enough vaccine doses for everyone in the first batch. The way the government is fucking it up, about half of what they are saying will be available. Over 60s, those at most risk, NHS workers will be the first to be offered it. By the time that is done it will be Spring and the second wave will have fizzled out. Next Autumn before the next covid season starts, lets see how many side effects will have been noted.

Not only will the middle earners, middle class and middle aged pay for furlow but they'll be last in the queue for the jab? Way to go!
