I think that is what Ducati will do. Had he not been injured than Redding and Lorenzo would not even have entered into the conversation. Personally I'd still pick Redding if he wins the title. Keeping Bagnaia where he is for another year won't hinder his progress.

If Bagnaia continues where he left off and is kept at Pramac that might see him go elsewhere.

Jack Miller should move to WSB in a couple of years if he makes no progress on the factory Ducati. His arc will be complete and he won't get any better.

I wonder what Crutchlow will do in 2021? Injured obviously but his form is awful.

I can't see him moving down. I reckon he'll pack it in. Shame as WSB could benefit from a few GP rejects now the young blood is coming through.

Zarco is still in with a shout, but I suspect Bagnaia has the advantage....and preferred passport!..they’re also looking at signing one of the current top M2 guys.
Supposed to be sorted/announced just before Misano.

WSS600 is shite now. Used to be the meat in the sandwich at one point but it's just tedious now, a bit like moto2. Locatelli is killing it.

What a shit couple of races on Sunday. Where the fuck were the rest of the field? Battling each other nearly 20 seconds down the road. Redding was very mediocre in race two. I don't hate Rea or anything, far from it. But I definitely want someone to beat the little bastard for the title. He has become a comedy villain in my book.

WSS600 is shite now. Used to be the meat in the sandwich at one point but it's just tedious now, a bit like moto2. Locatelli is killing it. Locatelli/his team are doing what Bautista/Ducati did to WSB last year to start with, before he crashed out so much. His bike is very well prepped (bit like Ten Cate Honda years ago) and he is riding it to it's full potential. This the first year on slicks for WSS, maybe he is exploiting the tyres more than the others who are used to the old partially treaded tyres. Seems the paddock thinks they are bending the rules but nobody wants to be the one to put in a protest. I reckon the bike has been scrutinised more than any other given the way Locatelli is clearing off. Dorna wouldn't want someone getting away with cheating like that. At least today Cluzel said Locatelli is the best rider and he is riding for 2nd. Thinking of Bautista/Ducati last year at the first races, and Locatelli, to me that highlights the difference in quality of riders. Redding isn't leading the championship, so thats what makes me think he wont be better than anyone else in line for the factory Ducati in MotoGP. He got beat by Bautista in the main race today.

Does anyone on here want Rea to keep on winning? Not looking to have a dig or anything. Sometimes I love it when the best riders dominates and everyone else gets upset. I'm defo not feeling that with Rea which is odd because he is a nice lad, paid his dues on uncompetitive machinery and is an exciting racer to watch. Then again although he was never dominant I could never warm to Nicky Hayden. By all accounts he was a great guy and had a good sense of humour. I think my issue went all the way back to Honda fucking Edwards over and promoting Hayden instead. I still count his lone title in 2006 as one of the poorest ever in the history of the championship. I don't think I'm alone there though. Even MotoCourse had Troy Bayliss as the best rider in 2006. The only time in history they chose someone who wasn't the 500/MotoGP champ of that year. Bayliss got it for winning the WSB title and the last race at Jerez in MotoGP as a wildcard.

The 300s were superb this weekend. We seem to have WSB copying motogp. 300s/moto3 - awesome / WSS/moto2 - oh dear / WSB/motogp - decent enough.

Re Rea, at first I was pleased enough that he won a title or two as he wasted most of his early career trying hard for not much return on the Honda. Tom Sykes quickly became annoying so I was glad he got put to bed. Once it became clear the Kwak was the best bike it got a bit boring and then when he overtook Foggy I had to think to myself he had it easy compared to the 90s.
Haydens title was a pretty poor effort I guess but it was sort of Rocky story and the emotional element of him winning won me over. It meant more to him that it would to Rossi. I think he got shown up a bit with Stoner as team mate though. Stoner would have been a destroyer on a Yam or Honda.

Don’t know what I most dislike about Rea. The fact he’s been dominating too long on the best bike, his robotic style rarely putting it off line, the fact he came in to the team after Sykes had developed it into a winner then was a total cunt to him, the fact he was ruthless to the point of reckless in the old reverse grid and never came off worst, the fact that he was a moaning cunt when Bautista won the first 11 races last year and destroyed the field (perversely i actually preferred that purely cos he made it look awesome and also cos finally some cunt was sticking it up Rae), the fact he bores me in post race interviews. Actually this weekend i actually didn’t fast forward and he came across better but probably that’s because he won. Naw, the damage is done for me with Rea and i know I’ll never take to the cunt. Redding is the only one who can realistically beat him to the title this year but for fucks sake someone needs to show Rae less respect especially in the first couple of corners and make the racing at the front exciting.

I'm not trying to make out like I am a bald, bearded version of Mistic Meg or anything, but race 1 and the superpole race went like I thought they would, but I thought race 2 would see Scott gradually overhaul Rea. Also Rea's bike held it's own better down the big straight than I thought. As I understand it, Scott changed tyres for race 2, I haven't seen any interviews with him since then, but I can't help think that that was one of the main reasons that things went badly for him on Sunday's main race. Droog, your last sentence summed it up perfectly for me, especially last year at the start of the season when Alvaro was caning him and Jonnie complained that it made things boring for the viewers.
