Well, everyone said that Scott knew what he was getting himself into going to BMW, but that works both ways, so did they. It's not like he's not got form in this respect!
I see his put his 2p worth in the Carrasco / Bautista saga too... better to have stayed out of it IMO.

She's played a victim card without warrant. He said she was an amateur. Not an amateur because she's a woman. I think he's justified on saying people with her experience shouldn't be running with big boys. I'm surprised she's in moto 3 again given last year. At the end of the day WSS300 is about her level.

I agree, there are voices of dismay from other women in Spain that think she shouldn't have played the gender card in this case.
Alvaro's original comment was aimed at the fact that she was lapping around 10 seconds slower and that therefore she should be riding in an amateur level group, I'm pretty sure he'd have said the same if he was being held up by McPhee, just to quote a random example.
Maybe a bit excessive to use the word amateur, Ana's best lap was 1:48.9, according to the trackday forum I use here, anything below 2:05 is fast group, with slow groups running at about 2:15, but still, there was clearly no sexist slant to Alvaro's complaint.

Saying she should ride with the amateurs was a bit daft, but she was 110% of the fastest time and 105% is the qualifying cutoff.

If you are a journo and want something to write about, ask Redding a few questions. Most of the others are more considered in their views, but its not as interesting.

Sykes is on that retirement grift. Hopefully he'll not come back to BSB again.
Seems like nobody is happy. Redding isn't happy, Rea isn't happy, Toprak isn't happy. Sadly they can't all have a Ducati.

Toprak is leaving Yamaha in WSB, regardless of if a MotoGP seat becomes available... what are the odds that he's going to Ducati in WSB as a better and more competitive way into MotoGP?

I just hope that Kenan has pulled something amazing out of the bag.... i.e. not a factory BMW ride. I've been reading rumours that Zarco was going to be Bautista's team mate next year. I can't see Ducati wanting to lose Bassani either. Then there's Bulega leadin SSP with Ducati who will want to step up... Maybe Ducati are going to run 8 bikes in WSB as well?

Ducati have plenty of options, as like Motogp, it's the best bike. Rinaldi will probably get the boot as he only has about 2 decent races a year. Bassani probably found a horses head in his bed though after taking Rinaldi out so maybe he's also out.
The rate Zarco ages, he will probably look about 60 next year and be too old for WSB. Be funny if Redding went back to Ducati and Toprak took a load of cash for BMW. Superglue will probably go with whatever lines his pockets.
Then again maybe we are about to see a Rea/Toprak combo after Lowes gets the boot?

Then again maybe we are about to see a Rea/Toprak combo after Lowes gets the boot? I'm sure that Rea will have a say in that! He doesn't mind having Lowes as a team mate because he's not a championship threat!

I know Rossi put the wall up but he did at least see off the Lorenzo threat for 2 years.
I wonder if someone like Gardner will get a factory ride now?

Oh well that's Superglue's bank balance up a bit. Redding went from title challenger and fairly regular winner to also-ran on the BMW.
I wonder if it's Redding or VDM who will be leaving?

There's going to be an interesting bun fight for the spare R1 seat!
