Scotland have come a long way and barring any fuck ups they should qualify for Euro 2024 which is an achievement in itself, but they're not at the same level as England. I got half my prediction correct, Maguire scored for Scotland! Spot on. England were excellent and snuffed out any attack. There was a period in the second half where Scotland looked like they were getting on top of the game but England came right back into it. Bellingham was unplayable. Two more points and we qualify for the Euros. If we manage to qualify from our group then that will be definitive progress for ScotlandFootballClub. |

Interesting hearing all the "who the fuck's he?" comments over Ange Postecoglou joining Spurs. Exactly the same comments echoing around Scotland when he arrived at Celtic 2 years ago before going on to win 5 cups out of a possible 6...The guy is a winner...I expect that he will lead Spurs to a top 4 finish by his second season and I fully expect him to win the English premiership within 5 years although possibly not with Spurs. Do not underestimate this cunt. Any cunt doubt this prediction now? How long before he's poached by Man Yeeoo? |

A good change for Spurs from the dross Mourinho used to serve up, and if he can help to keep Chelski and Manure out of the top 6 i will be more than happy.
All we need now is for Guardiola to fuck off to a small little money club to really prove himself and we might have a competitive title race.

Steve Clarke becomes the first manager in history to lead Scotland to back-to-back European championships. Qualified with 2 games still to go after winning the first 5 games. Beat Spain comfortably at Hampden and went toe to toe with them in Spain.
There's a real belief that we could progress from the group stages for the first time which would be a monumental achievement. The worry is that a club will poach Clarke but hopefully his public persona of a totally miserable cunt will scare potential suitors away.

Miserable cuntness is common place in football management and I’m guessing that clubs wouldn’t be put off by Steve Clarke’s dour pus demeanour but his record with Scotland and adoration from the Scottish public will hopefully help to persuade him to stick around.

I wasn't expecting anything at all from Scotland and pretty much the same with England despite their previous tournament form and what the bookies say.
Getting bored with ritual media hype and public fawning over the teams chances AND shite performances to the point where i'll not be watching the last group game, i just cannot bear to watch the donkey Kane getting another start after yet another lousy game.

Taking Billy Gilmour off was a big mistake. The build up play switched to long ball which suited the counter attack strength of Hungary.
That and row Zing every fucking attempt on goal.
I wanted Scotland to make it but 2 OGs and 1 point is pretty poor.

I was honestly of the opinion that Steve Clarke was the best manager we’ve had in years but I’m dumbfounded by his selections and tactics in this tournament. Adams was always 2nd choice to Dykes as his goal scoring record is dire. Everyone i know thought that Shankand was a shoe in to start but Clarke seems to be a stubborn cunt and set the team up not to lose instead of having an actual go.
Deserved everything we got and can only feel sorry for the fantastic support that travelled in massive numbers.
Get Moyes in !!
