Decent result for Brighton this weekend...Maybe should have won it? I hate the way Chelsea just click their fingers and Managers come fucking running. I hope they get relegated and Potter gets sacked from every job he ever has from now on

They took Potter plus 6 'backroom' staff. I hope he replaces the waistcoat wanker.

Fast forward a couple of months. Potter in deep shit. Brighton flying and just thrashed Liverpool. Touch of karma.

Interesting hearing all the "who the fuck's he?" comments over Ange Postecoglou joining Spurs. Exactly the same comments echoing around Scotland when he arrived at Celtic 2 years ago before going on to win 5 cups out of a possible 6.
"Ah but it's Celtic, my mum could win that league." It's true that there is only one other serious contender for titles in Scotland but Postecoglou came into a Celtic team in absolute disarray, brought no backroom staff with him and turned them around pretty quickly against a strong Rangers side. He has won leagues in Japan and Australia and managed the Australian national team. The guy is a winner. He also doesn't suffer fools or prima donnas so I think that you will see a very competitive Spurs team under him.
I'm not that familiar with English fitba' and I don't know what Spurs' resources are like compared to the likes of City or Newcastle. Resources matter. And he will undoubtedly face the biggest challenges of his managerial career when you look at the managers and teams he will be up against. However, I expect that he will lead Spurs to a top 4 finish by his second season and I fully expect him to win the English premiership within 5 years although possibly not with Spurs. Do not underestimate this cunt.
And while I'm at it - FUCK SAKE SCOTLAND 😍😍😍

Billy Gilmour comes on and the games turns.
Anyway, we're all going on a European tour.

Strongest Scotland team I've seen in 40 years. Honestly feel like we could give anyone a game on our day. We must be favourites to top this group now and that's just mental given that it includes Spain and Norway.
Just hope we don't fold and blow it but I honestly don't see that under Steve Clarke.

First Banzai derby of the season saw Motherwell beat the High Bees 2-1. Striker Mika Biereth on loan from Arsenal proved the difference in the game coming off the bench to pitch in with an assist and a spectacular solo effort. 16 year old Lennon Miller continues his brilliant start to the season and is a star of the future.
We weren't sure which Hibs would turn up but fortunately it was the shite Hibs. They have a big European match this week and their wildly fluctuating inconsistency makes them an interesting watch.

well we are fucking shit at the moment. I dont understand how most pundits had us down as favourites to go straight back up. Have they A) never seen us play and B) not seen our transfer activity??!! Who pays these cunts? Optimistically we'll stumble in to the play offs and getting fingered by Boro or some shit

Well.
I can still remember us playing in the local athletics stadium. Before that, we had to buy a player with equipment because we had no cash. That is what rogue ownership can do.
We are so fortunate to have a genuine fan in control now. Not just that, but he is mentally clever and sufficiently wealthy. To be on the receiving end of the UK's biggest transfer fee is something we never saw coming.
I will enjoy the other leagues. The championship is like the 125s - anything can happen.

S'true....Its no fun being bummed every week in the Prem. At least there's something to pay for the in Championship, and its easier to get tickets too now

Here’s the thing. The ambition is to finish top 5 and qualify for Europe. The reality is that playing Thursday night knocks fuck out of the team and they end up getting pumped in the league. Look at West Ham last year, won the Conference League and yet nearly got relegated. Most teams don’t have Arab oil money and can’t afford to have quality squads. Hibs have a great chance of progressing to the next round and get hammered by Aston Villa. It’s a bastard.

It's always an achievement qualifying for Europe but the reality for most Scottish teams is that at some point you're getting your arse handed to you and the squad sizes just can't cope with multiple tournaments. I hope youse get through, you're in a good position but I do find your lack of consistency quite baffling.
