What the fuck is going on. No cunt has fallen over and rolled all over the floor? The best I've seen so far is Italian Immobile falling over in the penalty area clutching his leg, rolling around, stayed down. Someone scored and as son as he realised he got up and ran over to give the scorer a hug.

Think Ive just about recovered after ;ast nights game, even though I missed the first 10 minutes as the pub TV was knocled out by the rain. I also won £200 on a free bet (Harry Maguire to score with his head anytime)...I dont gamble but, fuck it, it was free!
This resulted in a frankly dangerous intake of tequila

England do seem to have recovered well since Scotland hammered them 0-0. Clear path to the final now with all games at home.
Hope to fuck Italy win. If England win it, I will not live long enough to hear the fucking end of it and that's quite a depressing thought.

Has any other cunt noticed a proliferation of adverts for gambling since the euros began?
Many years ago I had a flatmate with a gambling addiction. I've seen the damage it can do and that damage always extends to everyone in the addict's orbit. I fucking hate gambling and I don't understand how these adverts seem to be everywhere without any obvious restrictions or conditions apart from a cynical 'gamble safely' message at the end.

I know the MSM will regularly re-live Euro 2020 a la 1966 if England win it but who cares, they are a very good team with many talented players that we'd give our eyeteeth to have in the Scotland squad. But they still have to beat Denmark and Italy, no small task.

Rio Ferdinand (fud) said last night that it's going to be an exciting game but can't see past England. Fair enough but i don't see much in it and you can't deny that Denmark have spirit in abundance and aren't in the semi's through luck. I'm working this evening so won't see it but to be honest I'd probably have the sound down anyway 🙂

Is gambling advertising restricted in the UK? It is over here. Not allowed on telly until after 22.00 and no televised sports event can include any gambling sposnsorship. It's funny, but people complain like fuck about lots of stuff, fast food included, but in my area there are literally hundreds of gambling "bars" which are also complained about. They are everywhere, and to be honest if there is a market for it and they are legal, what can you do? But when we found out that the local council had granted a betting licence in a shop which was only a few meters away from a school, which is illegal and should never have been granted, we staged a few protests and managed to get it overturned. The place is now a burger bar (which almost surely puts tomato ketchup on everything...) and people are over the moon to have a "restaurant" rather than a betting shop. Its all relative of course.

Looking at the recent history from 2020 onwards, both teams have played 18 games. England goals scored 32 goals conceded 5 clean sheets 14 won 14 drawn 2 lost 2 Denmark 41 13 5 12 2 4 Last 2 games between the countries, 0-0 in Copenhagen, Denmark won 1-0 at Wembley. Bookies say in normal time 8/11 England 12/5 draw 19/4 Denmark. I'd say lots of English punter throwing money on England. Denmark are a lot better than 19/4. England's defence has been solid, 0 conceded this tournament. Denmark's has been weaker, but they have scored more goals and have 11 to England's 8 in this tournament. I dont reckon it will be as exciting as the Italy v Belgium or Spain v Italy games. I reckon England will continue with defence first, attack second for 60 minutes or so. But it could be quite a game if Denmark score early. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denmark_national_football_team#UEFA_Euro_2020_knockout_phaseen.wikipedia.org/wiki/England_national_football_team

Scotland, Wales and NI must be the only footballing nations in Europe who have no option but to receive their tournament coverage from a rival's media. And you wonder why we enjoy seeing them getting beat? Anyway, I've got a nice bit of bacon for dinner, a slab of Carlsberg in the fridge and a selection of pastries for after 😉

Can't BBC Scotland put something together rather than rely on the English? The Scots must do something for Scottish league football.

Can't BBC Scotland put something together rather than rely on the English? The Scots must do something for Scottish league football. That would be the obvious solution and it wouldn't even be particularly expensive since most Covid-era commentary is on matches being watched over video link anyway. Fuck knows, we may even want England to win in such a scenario. However, we don't have that luxury and until we do I don't think it's too much to ask for British broadcasting to honour its obligations. Until then I'm digging out my ABE leather g-string and matching socks.
