Ok it’s only testing but Bautista was excellent last year on a new bike. I find it puzzling moving to Honda when the Ducati is such a strong package and Honda have been shite for so long.

Take your pick!

Its been said that Bautista is now earning more money at Honda than he did when he was in MotoGP. If thats true, if you are in your last few years of racing why not? Haslam is proving the Honda isn't a dog, he was one of the fastest on top speed at this test.

He said she said...but yeah, why not maximise your earning potential in the last few years of your career.. I hope the Honda boys do well, HRC are obviously throwing a lot of money into this WSB effort.

Redding fastest. Wet and dry. Lowes well off the pace. Thought he would fly on the Kwak.

Bodes well!
Can't wait to see some track action. IF Redding wins, even better!

Its looking a lot closer than in recent years. I think any of the top 6 in FP2 could win it. Redding had a quicker lap, but his lap times weren't the most consistent, maybe he was dodging seagulls.

I would love to see Redding do a partial 'Bautista'... come in, cause a stir, kick some arse, but not to lose it halfway through the season and hand the championship to Rea.

At least Bautista is in the Top 10.

Though Bautista was on some sort of Motogp redemption arc last season until he fell off, then fell off and then fell off. He made WSB look like amateur hour for a bit tbh. If he'd had a full season as good as the first half he'd have got a GP ride again.

Sykes on pole by some margin, but the only bikes slower on top speed are Baz & Takahashi. Sykes 309kph, Lowes 322kph.

Impressive debut by Locatelli so far. 3 years in moto2 where he finished 28th, 15th, & 18th.

Wow. What a start to the season! Toprak off to a flyer, Rea in the gravel and 4 man finish.
Biggest surprise was how slow the Ducati was in a straight line with Redding on board - 310 compared to most of the others doing 320+

That was an absolute cracker of a race! Even the boy sat still and watched it...First time hes sat still since he was born!
Sykes and Rea will be at each others throats now

Can Sykes ever make a tyre last?
