Yep. Hope Redding kicks some arse. Actually I'd like the Honda to do something as well.

Aye, I would like to see a season long battle between Redding and Rea. Honda have fucking no chance...Leon is a good national rider and Bautista crashes too much

Bit disappointed after first tests with Honda. Was expecting some missile the way they were talking. Hopefully it's one of those things where software will make it better rather than it being fixed as a duffer already.

This could be a contender for 'race' of the year: a track that delivers genuine action with Redding planning to ruffle some feathers.

On the whole Philip Island produces good racing, but isn't indicative of the season as whole... but I'm looking forward to it as Aus at that time of year is normally good for some decent weather, unlike MotoGP at the end of the year!

I'm decidedly unimpressed with the Honda myself but if you look at the test sector times and speed traps it would appear that it is in fact, a bit of a missle down the straights. I can see it doing well at PI as both riders go well there. Maybe then it will slump to 7th and 8th place type finishes before coming good mid to late in the season. They will have their hands full beating BMW though. I see Yamaha a bit further ahead but behind Kawasaki and Ducati.

Had a sit on the new ‘Blade at the Excel bike show on Friday....small, cramped, extreme knee bend!!....then again, I’m 56 years old and 185cm tall....it’s not been designed for folks like me!. Looks nice though, quality. I still prefer the S1000RR though....if I was fortunate enough to be able to afford either!.

I'd be happy to see any one of the top 3 win a race or two in the first meeting.

No Torres? I thought he was on the other Moriwaki bike?

I think Torres is joining from round 3, Jerez. I didnt read why, maybe they have to build the bike from scratch.

Surprised to see Haslam way ahead of Bautista One of those logic breakers. Rea > Haslam but Haslam is now > Bautista but when he was on it Bautista > Rea.
