Wife has it now. Inevitable really in a house without another bathroom or ensuite. So far she just has a sore throat.
Don't feel too bad today, still a bit of aches left but temperature thing has backed off. Other annoyance is coughing but I assume that will go when the virus fucks off.
Oh well, I least I will be super immune now?

Oh well, I least I will be super immune now? Nah, some poor cunt in Barcelona has had it 4 times now... A guy I work with has had it twice. It's quite common to get reinfected. You lot are just going through the peak of infections which every country will get after they go back to "normal". We should be I getting back to normal in a few months so I'll probably get it again before summer.

Lad has it now.
Being a thick cunt, after I felt a bit better today I did some light weights and went for walk. I am now knackered again and can't stop coughing. I've also been kicked out of my bed to go and cough elsewhere. Won't be doing any exercise until it's gone now.

The whole family had COVID just after the New Year. I basically had a week and a half off after testing positive with what could only be described as a very bad cold. My wife was the same, the eldest (11 yrs) shrugged it off with a bit of a sniffle, but my youngest (8 yrs) required his Ventoline relief inhaler at least twice a day, on top of his twice daily Clenil Modulite preventer. My wife and I fully vaccinated, with boosters.
My brother and his wife, both COVID deniers and anti-COVID vaccinators, have been laid up in bed for at least two weeks with a "bad flu" as my brother would put it. Hopefully this is a wakeup call for them both as my brother has suspected prostate cancer and, if the 2nd biopsy comes back positive, he'll have to undergo treatment. If this happens, and his treatment knocks seven bells of shite of his immune system, then anyone living in his house will needs all sorts of vaccines, including those for COVID! My mother-in-law died due to picking up a virus after receiving chemotherapy, so it does happen!

I have just tested negative , so that's 9 days of it and done. Still feel a bit mong somehow. Not going to ride motorbike for another few days which is annoying. I judge it on my SIM racing level and what sort of laptimes I'm getting. At least I won't die if Im not on the virtual ball.

Well, looks like I came back from the SLF gig with more than just tinnitus. I guess it's inevitable that we're all going to get it but it's mildly terrifying just how infectious it is. Every one of us who were out on Wednesday has now tested positive.

You'll be right. It was more annoying than debilitating. I think there was about 3 days it weakened me, rest was fucking coughing and random hot cold stuff.
I noticed my sense of smell and taste seemed to weaken a bit but is back to normal levels. Not being able to taste would have been a cunt.

You picked the wrong time to get covid Noodle. It's been removed from the Daily Mail's front page now. You're probably just malingering.
You now also can't order lft kits anymore so you won't be able to test negative after you've tested positive. What a shit show. The kids have to test negative to go back to school so how do you know other than best guess. I was still testing positive for over a week.

You can still get lateral flow kits in Scotland. Stacks of them. Free as fuck.
The inevitability of infection is quite depressing. I've been super careful, mask and gel everywhere, avoiding crowded places, bars, public transport, etc. The one fucking time I bent over to pick up the soap, Covid pumped me right up the arse. The UK government is clearly bored with Covid now. Every cunt has been vaccinated so go for herd immunity and stop talking about it.
The problem is, given the number of cunts who have reported getting infected more than once, is immunity actually possible or are we just looking forward to perpetual infections?

The problem is, given the number of cunts who have reported getting infected more than once, is immunity actually possible or are we just looking forward to perpetual infections? Yes. But we have lived with many illnesses that are either highly lethal or highly infectious since for ever. The problem was that Covid a few years ago was both. Now its just a "Jack Russell" of a virus. (Annoying as fuck and can give you a bit of grief really, but hardly likely to kill you) Get well soon by the way.

Been laid up with covid past week. Double jabbed and had the booster so it was like a bad cold. Starting to feel ok now.

It looks like there's a lot of lockdown second anniversary infections going on. Fingers crossed for all.
