A great circuit to ride and to watch racing at. Theoretically the championship can be wrapped up my Rea this weekend if he wins all 3 races and Bautista fails to score.

The weather is looking good for Saturday and Sunday's races; chance of rain (up to 30%) but early to mid 20°C.
Rea needs to outscore Buatista by 33 points to wrap up the title.

Well that was some race. Rea called it dodgems. Toprak 16th on the grid 3.136s off pole, 7th at the end of lap 1 and he wins despite being bumped off the track on lap 4. Fantastic way to win your 1st WSB race. He really is showing his potential in the last few rounds.

Some dodgy moves in there though. VdM just thought he'd pretend Rea wasn't there on lap 1 or what?
And it looks like Chaz has been training with Augusto Fernández 😁

Rea did ok with his knife in a gunfight then. Who would have thought after Bautista's 11 straight wins at the start.

Good racing that....well done Rea, I really thought Bautista would be WC after his run of wins...I think he’s had his head turned by HRC and hasn’t been “on it”.....
SSP was great stuff.....nasty high side for Krumenacher but he was up and about ok....
Shame MotoGP doesn’t race at MC instead of Mickey Mouse Le Mans.

Ive been to Le Mans a couple of times.....wouldn’t bother going back. Never been to MC but it’s on my list. That lonnnnng right hander with MotoGP bikes would be superb.

They used Magny Cours in 1992. Whitham stood in for an injured Buckmaster and had the crowd cheering with his frantic style. Finished 9th I think?

Don't get me started on 'wrong' venues.
Anyway, plenty of decent races. I look forward to Redding get stuck in next year.
As for Bautista, what a tit. Championships are a rare thing and he'll never come close again.

We could always start a rumour that Bautista had to lose the championship and all of those races on purpose so he could take the Honda ride and win it for them.

That last crash wasn't his fault and I guess he really paid the price at the circuits he didn't know and/or dodgy conditions for qualifying a few times. Still a daft bastard that basically chucked the series away though.
Here's to HRC making a beast. Apparently it won't be a V4.
