So what's everyone doing for Xmas?....home?...away?.....I'll be in the 'Toon seeing family from 22nd until the until the 29th. Will catch up with some old mates over a few beers at some point during the week, and trying to avoid going to the Metro Centre with the missus. I usually manage to drop her off and do my own thing for a couple of hours but, as it's Xmas and there will be presents to buy, I might have to suffer.
Sometimes I go to the Westgate Road for a gander....the "mecca" for NE biking....well, it used to be back in the day!..

At my mum's for lunch on 23rd... and that's it so far. We would normally travel to Bradford to visit my wife's family, but her mum is having treatment for leukaemia and her brother's wife is having treatment for breast cancer. They are both feeling rotten, so everything is up in the air. My sister is a midwife and is working over Christmas and my wife had a falling out with my brother's other half; fun times... not!  |

The way my shifts have worked out this year I have 16 days off, I would have had a week in Fuerteventura but my mother is failing badly so i'll be down there an hour on afternoons and evenings giving my sisters a bit of a break from looking after her, so i'm going to be busy.

Not going anywhere this year for a change. I might hire a keg  Probably be in the shed working on the aprilia if the parts I ordered turn up. Actually looking forward to a Christmas at home. |

The way my shifts have worked out this year I have 16 days off, I would have had a week in Fuerteventura but my mother is failing badly so i'll be down there an hour on afternoons and evenings giving my sisters a bit of a break from looking after her, so i'm going to be busy. Hope you can make the best of your break Bella.
I'll be in the UK for 5 days for "family time" but this is the first year that both me and my wife have holidays from work for the entire school holidays, so I'm expecting a full on family Xmas with the kids. Hopefully get out on the bicycles a few times, stuff my face every day and drink too much (after the kids are in bed of course!).
If I'm lucky I'll get a bit of time to do a few things to my "classic" car which is desperately craving attention. Luckily my bike is in tip top condition but I'll have to get some new tyres on it sooner or later.

Ill be moving house...Solicitors have finally pulled their fingers out (I can't believe how hard it is to buy a fucking house).
Once that's done Ill be working through various ales and whisky whilst watching sport and cooking. Winner.

Leave for Ireland on the 23rd, travel back on the 27th. Strict no presents rule, just good craic a few beers and enjoy each others company......I Hope |
